摘要： A water pump having a water pump housing, a housing flange mounted on the water pump housing, and a pump rotor rotatably journaled in the housing. A hollow stud projects axially outwardly from the flange, a drive and bearing assembly for supporting the pump rotor comprising a roller bearing supported on the outer peripheral surface of the hollow stud, and a pulley rotatably supported by the roller bearing on the hollow stud of the housing flange. A shaft supports the pump rotor and passes through the hollow stud. A coupling element connects the pulley to the shaft in a torsion-proof manner and simultaneously centers the shaft whereby the roller bearing is tightened to eliminate axial play.

摘要： A universal joint for rotatory drives such as are for example used in motor vehicle construction. To improve the life of the bearings, asymmetrical indentations are provided on the yoke arms, or the yoke arms have tangentially directed sections in which the bearing bores are disposed. As a result, the universal joint is subjected to load, and there is no deformation of the bearing bore or unacceptable cramping of the bearings.

摘要： A clutch thrust bearing has thin-walled bearing members formed to define a race therebetween for receiving rolling bearing elements. One of the bearing members has a generally radially extending central wall portion, and an axially extending annular wall portion, the center portion defining one wall of the race and the axially extending portion extending away from the other bearing member. The one bearing member further includes a second thin-walled portion on the side of the bearing away from the other member, and axially spaced from the center wall portion of the same member. This thin-walled portion has a central depression for receiving thrust loads on the bearing, and the outer walls of this portion extend axially and are telescoped with the first mentioned axially extending wall. An elastic member is provided between the two center portions of the one member, and may be in the form of a split ring or an elastic material.
