摘要:
A dishwasher in the form of a programmable machine, in particular a commercial dishwasher, having a pre-cleaning station, which is disposed outside a treatment chamber of the dishwasher, and having a waste water transfer system, by which washing liquid can be fed from a wash tank of the dishwasher as pre-cleaning liquid to the pre-cleaning station.

A dishwashing machine is designed to perform the following process steps: Step 1: a pretreatment cycle spraying the washing goods with an alkaline, highly concentrated cleaning solution, the pH value of which is at least 1 greater than the pH value of the washing liquid of a main washing cycle; Step 2 after Step 1: a soak cycle for a soak period, during which the cleaning solution acts on the washing goods and the washing goods are additionally thermally pretreated with steam, whereby the thermal pretreatment of the washing goods is performed during at least one part of the soak period, preferably during the entire soak period; Step 3 after Step 2: a main washing cycle, comprising spraying of the washing goods with washing liquid comprising water and cleaner; Step 4 after Step 3: a clear rinse cycle, during which the washing goods are sprayed with clear rinse liquid.

The invention relates to a dishwashing machine and method for the operation thereof, particularly a commercial dishwashing machine. It is designed to perform the following process steps: Step 1: performing a pretreatment cycle consisting of spraying the washing goods with an alkaline, highly concentrated cleaning solution, the pH value of which is at least 1 greater in value than the pH value of the washing liquid of a main washing cycle; Step 2 after Step 1: performing a soak cycle for a soak period, during which the cleaning solution acts on the washing goods and the washing goods are additionally thermally pretreated with steam, whereby the thermal pretreatment of the washing goods is performed during at least one part of the soak period, preferably during the entire soak period; Step 3 after Step 2: performing a main washing cycle, comprising spraying of the washing goods with washing liquid comprising water and cleaner; Step 4 after Step 3: performing a clear rinse cycle, during which the washing goods are sprayed with clear rinse liquid.

A conveyor-type dish washer and a method of operating it, characterised in that a final-rinse operation is executed with the consumption of final-rinse liquid of 3 l/m2 movement of the horizontal take-up plane of a dish carrier or less, preferably of 1 l/m2-2.5 l/m2, while the items (154, 156) which are to be finally rinsed are being subjected to final-rinse liquid spray jets; wherein said take-up plane is the horizontal area of the dish carrier where the dish carrier can take up items to be cleaned.

In order to reduce the fresh water or final-rinse liquid quantity necessary to clean items without impairing the effectiveness of the cleaning, it is provided that, during an adsorption phase, air is led out of the treatment chamber of the machine through a sorption unit such that moisture is absorbed from the air flow by a dry material, after which the air is fed back to the treatment chamber. During a desorption phase, the dry material is heated and air is led out of the treatment chamber through the heated dry material such that moisture is desorbed from the dry material and at least a part of the desorbed moisture is discharged as steam from the sorption unit. At least a part of the steam discharged from the sorption unit is led into the treatment chamber during a steam final-rinse phase.
