A method includes executing a wet cycle, wherein a heating unit and a fan of a desiccant assembly are active during the wet cycle. The desiccant assembly includes the heating unit, the fan, and a desiccant module and is in fluid communication with a wash chamber of the dishwasher appliance. The method further includes executing a delay period, the delay period occurring for a predetermined time period between the wet cycle and a dry cycle, wherein the heating unit and the fan are active during the delay period. The method further includes draining liquid from the wash chamber after the delay period, and executing a dry cycle, wherein the fan is active and the heating unit is inactive during the dry cycle.

摘要： A method for operating a dishwasher is provided. During a first phase, the dishwasher is operated with a first fluid quantity that is heated by a desorption process of a drying material. The first fluid quantity is increased to a second fluid quantity by adding a third fluid quantity that is stored in the drying material. During a second phase, the dishwasher is operated with the second fluid quantity. The first and second fluid quantities are circulated by a circulation pump during the first and second phases, respectively. The circulation pump is operated at a rotational speed that is higher during the second phase than during the first phase.

Provision is made, during an adsorption phase, for air to be conducted out of the treatment chamber (2) through a sorption unit (41), which contains a reversibly dehydratable dry material, in such a way that the dry material absorbs moisture from the air stream, wherein the air is then returned to the treatment chamber (2). Provision is further made, during a desorption phase, for the dry material of the sorption unit (41) to be heated in such a way that moisture is desorbed from the dry material as steam. During the desorption phase, the sorption unit (41) is subjected to forced ventilation only to such an extent that recondensation of desorbed steam in the sorption unit (41) itself is effectively prevented.

摘要： A dish washer with an improved flow channel of air passing through an adsorbent includes a tub to wash dishes, a drying device to supply air into the tub to dry the dishes, and an adsorbent case provided in the drying device. The adsorbent case includes an inner space in which an adsorbent to adsorb moisture contained in air in the tub is provided, and at least one mesh unit located in the inner space to form a flow channel of air passing through the adsorbent. The flow channel is formed in the adsorbent using the mesh unit to reduce flow resistance of air flowing through the adsorbent. Air rapidly passes through the flow channel, thereby reducing drying time.
