A system and method for analyzing official notices of an electronically filed patent application are based on a file server that connects to patent office websites, a database, and client computers. An official notice of the patent application is downloaded from one of the patent office websites according to a download command from one of the client computers, and is converted to an image format document. Character data of the image format document are identified, and patent information of the electronically filed patent application are extracted from the character data using a regular expression. In addition, the patent information are analyzed to generate analysis results of the official notice according to the comparison.

The present invention provides a method for generating electronic patent application files, which includes steps of: creating multiple extensible markup language (XML) templates; setting basic requirements of drafted files; mapping the XML templates to chapter headers in the drafted files; analyzing and verifying whether the drafted files meet the basic requirements; parsing contents of the drafted files into corresponding XML templates if the drafted files meet the basic requirements; and generating XML patent application files according to the XML templates. A related system is also disclosed.

The method includes: generating a template based on contents and elements of the PDF document; reading data to be inserted into the PDF document from a database; processing the read data according to the elements of the PDF document; inserting the data processed into the template; integrating the data inserted template with the PDF document; and generating the data inserted PDF document. A related system is also disclosed.

An exemplary method for controlling a workflow is provided. The method includes: setting a check-status schedule and a reminder timer for each task of the workflow process; checking whether any task of the workflow process is in an incomplete state according to the check-status schedule; obtaining an operator name and a task assigned time of the task remained in the incomplete state; calculating a time difference between a current time and the task assigned time and calculating a remainder by utilizing modular arithmetic; and generating an alarm signal and sending the alarm signal to inform a corresponding operator to perform the task remained in the incomplete state if the remainder is greater than zero and not greater than the check-status schedule. A related system is also provided.

The method includes the steps of: setting conditions for obtaining trademark information and setting an execution time for obtaining the trademark information; parsing a webpage on a remote server according to the set conditions, obtaining the trademark information from the webpage, and sorting the obtained trademark information according to the set conditions; uploading evidences of trademarks use to a local server and sorting the uploaded evidences of trademarks use according to the set conditions; setting search conditions, searching in the obtained trademark information and the uploaded evidences of trademarks use according to the search conditions, and judging whether search results are obtained; displaying a list of the search results if the search results are obtained. A related system is also disclosed.

A computer-based method for verifying electronic signature of a document is provided. The method includes the steps of: generating a first document by a first party in a server; encrypting the first document in the server; sending the first document to a client and informing a second party of signing the document electronically; signing the first document by the second party electronically in the client to generate a second document; receiving the second document sent from the client by the server and decrypting the second document; determining whether the contents of the second document are the same as the contents of the first document; and verifying whether the signatory of the second document is the designated signatory if the contents of the second document are the same as the contents of the first document. A related system is also disclosed.
