    Abstract: A fiber optic enclosure includes a housing including a base and a cover that cooperatively define an interior region of the housing; and a cable spool assembly rotatably disposed in the interior region of the housing. The cable spool includes a drum portion; and a tray assembly engaged to the drum portion and configured to rotate in unison with the drum portion when the cable spool assembly is rotated relative to the base. The tray assembly includes at least a first tray. Each tray includes optical adapters disposed in a row along a first end of the tray. Certain types of trays are pivotal relative to the drum portion along a pivot axis extending generally parallel to the row of adapters along a second end of the tray opposite the first end. Other types of trays include a second row of optical adapters that pivot relative to the first row.

    Abstract: Certain embodiments of a fiber distribution hub include a swing frame pivotally mounted within an enclosure having a low profile. For example, the enclosure can have a depth of less than about nine inches. Termination modules can be mounted to the swing frame and oriented to slide at least partially in a front-to-rear direction to facilitate access to connectors plugged into the termination modules. Splitter modules and connector storage regions can be provided within the enclosure.

    Abstract: A termination enclosure includes a chassis configured to hold optical terminations and optical splices. The optical splices are mounted to a removable splice drawer. In certain examples, the splice drawer is removed through a rear of the chassis while the optical terminations remain at the chassis. Optical splices can be made at a workstation remote from the chassis and stored in the splice drawer, which is inserted back into the chassis.

A cable spool is connectedly engaged with the bearing mount such that the cable spool selectively rotates within the housing. A termination module disposed on the cable spool so that the termination module rotates in unison with the cable spool. A method of paying out a fiber optic cable from a fiber optic enclosure includes rotating a cable spool, which has a subscriber cable coiled around a spooling portion of the cable spool, about an axis of a housing of the fiber optic enclosure until a desired length of subscriber cable is paid out.
