摘要: A therapeutic foot and leg protector comprises a rigid outer shell having a soft protective liner disposed therein. The protector is perforated in its heel portion to allow air to enter the shell and circulate about the heel of a patient. The shell is made with a built-up support section to raise the shell above the general level of the bed, so that none of the perforations in the heel become blocked. In other words, the support section will facilitate a freer circulation of air about the heel of the patient, to effect a more rapid healing of heel sores. The liner has straps that project through slots in the shell and wrap about the foot and leg of the patient. This provides for the integral securement of both the liner and shell to the leg, while allowing the liner to be a separate element. A built-up ridge section in the heel portion of the shell prevents the heel of the patient from coming into contact with the shell. This will possibly prevent injury to the heel of the patient or the blocking of the perforations in the heel portion of the shell.

摘要: A method for automatically processing marketing and sales information. The method includes receiving data relating to one or more products, including data pertaining to marketing performance of the products and the marketing input drivers that influence the marketing performance. The method also includes analyzing the received data to determine response curves for the products, the response curves representing an optimal fit between a weighted combination of the input drivers of the products and their respective performance data. The method further includes adjusting the response curves based on feedback from one or more analysts to predict the future behavior of the response curves, determining an allocation of marketing resources based on the adjusted response curves, and presenting to a user the received data, the determined response curves, the adjusted response curves, and/or the marketing resources allocation.

摘要: This is a patient electronic medical record system, method, and computer processes that includes the ability to input demographic information, diagnosis specific questionnaire templates, polysomnographic data, technician observations, patient satisfaction surveys to achieve comprehensive and medical documentation that captures patient data prior to, concurrently, and following polysomnography. The system is enabled for a distributed computing environment including graphical user interfaces, text, and polysomnographic input. All information is stored in a database, which allows integrated summarized output, the development of physician interpretative reports, prescriptions, billing information, and database searches. The program can be Internet web-based with an encrypted connection to a secure server or be part of an integrated wide area network.

摘要: A solution with a salt-sensitive polymer binder for use in fibrous webs, where the binder contains a copolymer of carboxylic acid monomer units and ethylenically unsaturated monomer units. The binder solution is prepared by emulsion-polymerizing a copolymer and then neutralizing the copolymer with base to make it water soluble. The binders provide a higher wet strength in concentrated salt solutions than in deionized water, and are particularly suitable for strengthening nonwoven fibrous webs in disposable articles such as wet-wipes, personal care products, diapers, and the like.

摘要: Systems and methods are directed to managing resources within a network. In one example a method includes receiving destination capabilities from at least one destination component to an intermediate services component and generating an aggregate capabilities ticket based on the received destination capabilities. The method further includes providing the generated aggregate capabilities ticket from the intermediate services component to a client component and receiving an aggregate intent ticket that is produced by the client component and based on the aggregate capabilities ticket to the intermediate services component from the client component. The method may further include compiling a destination component database. The method may additionally include generating a destination intent ticket based on the received aggregate intent ticket and the destination component database, and providing the destination intent ticket to a target destination component.
