    摘要： A hair clip includes a pair of hair retainers for retaining hair therebetween and a pivotal shaft for pivoting the hair retainers. Each hair retainer has a pair of opposing hinge ledges at one end portion thereof. The hinge ledges of one of the hair retainers are disposed adjacent to those of the other hair retainer. A pivotal shaft is inserted into shaft penetrating apertures formed in the hinge ledges so that the hair retainers are pivoted about the pivotal shaft. One of adjacent hinge ledges is provided with a hinge cover for covering an inside edge of the other adjacent hinge ledge along an inside edge of one of adjacent hinge ledges, whereby hair is prevented from being introduced into a gap between adjacent hinge ledges, and/or one of adjacent hinge ledges disposed outside is provided with an outwardly protruded cylindrical portion in which an enlarged head portion of the pivotal shaft is disposed, whereby hair is prevented from being introduced into a gap between the enlarged head portion and one of adjacent hinge ledges disposed outside.

    摘要： A hair retainer is pivoted to one end portion of an ornamental cover. At a top portion of the hair retainer, a releasing mechanism is provided to unlatch engaging arms provided at the other end portion of the ornamental cover from a pair of engaging portions provided at a movable end of the hair retainer. The releasing mechanism is a releasing member that extends from the hair retainer to be disposed between the pair of engaging portions, and that opposes a top portion of the engaging arms in a latched state. The releasing member unlatches the engaging arms latched to the engaging portions by drawing the engaging arms together when the releasing member is pushed towards the engaging arms.

    摘要： A hair clip includes a base plate (1) secured to an ornamental cover and a pair of hooking arms (13) extending from the base plate, in which each arm has an extension protruding from an outer edge at the base portion of the arm. The extensions (13c) come into a sliding contact with an engaging part (4b) of a hair retainer (4) when it is moved towards its closed position. A shackling member (15) is provided for holding the hooking arms (13) at their overlapping position even after the arms have been unlatched. The hair clip further has a restoring member (14) which urges the shackling member (15) to return to its another position where the arms are freed, when the hair retainer (4) is opened such that the engaging part (4b) can no longer be latched by the hooking arms (13). Such a mechanism makes easier the unlatching of the hair clip, which is simple in structure and easy to manufacture and assemble.
