Abstract: A contactless power transfer system is provided. The contactless power transfer system includes a first power exchanger coil configured to exchange power. The contactless power transfer system also includes a first power converter operatively coupled to the first power exchanger coil and configured to convert a direct current power to an alternating current power at a system frequency. The contactless power transfer system further includes a controller configured to control an operating state of the first power converter to vary an alternating current power provided to the first power exchanger coil at the system frequency.

Abstract: A charging pad for charging one or more receiver devices is disclosed. The charging pad includes a power drive unit configured to generate a first AC voltage signal having a first frequency and a second AC voltage signal having a second frequency Further, the charging pad includes a transmitting unit including a single power exchange coil coupled to the power drive unit, wherein the single power exchange coil includes a first coil segment configured to transmit the first AC voltage signal having the first frequency when the first AC voltage signal is received from the power drive unit. Also, the single power exchange coil includes a second coil segment configured to transmit the second AC voltage signal having the second frequency when the second AC voltage signal is received from the power drive unit.

Abstract: A wireless power transfer system is disclosed. The wireless power transfer system includes a first converting unit for converting a first DC voltage of an input power to a first AC voltage, a contactless power transfer unit for transmitting the input power having the first AC voltage, and a second converting unit for transmitting the power having a second DC voltage corresponding to the first AC voltage to an electric load. Additionally, the wireless power transfer system includes an active voltage tuning unit for controlling the second DC voltage based on a difference between the second DC voltage and a reference voltage and at least one among a difference between the resonant frequency and the constant operating frequency and a difference between a phase angle of the first AC voltage and a phase angle of an AC current.

Abstract: A wireless power transfer system is disclosed.
