Abstract: A coordinated transmission method for a wireless local area network and an apparatus are disclosed. A sharing access point (AP) sends a first frame to a first station (STA) on a channel when a condition is met, to detect an interference resource unit, the channel is a channel on which the sharing AP and a first shared AP perform coordinated transmission. The sharing AP is a serving AP of a first STA. The first frame indicates the first STA to use a first resource unit when replying to the first frame. The interference resource unit is the first resource unit on which the reply from the first STA is not received.

Abstract: This application describes resource unit indication methods, access points, and a stations. In an example method, a resource unit allocation subfield in a trigger frame includes a frequency band range indication and a resource unit indication. The resource unit indication is used to indicate a multiple resource unit (MRU) allocated to a station. The frequency band range indication is used to indicate a frequency band range in which a resource unit (RU) in the MRU is located. For example, the frequency band range indication is used to indicate 80 MHz in which a smallest RU in the MRU is located. The described techniques can be applied to, for example, 802.11ax, 802.11be, and future Wi-Fi systems.

The method includes: generating a physical layer protocol data unit PPDU that complies with the 802.11be standard, where the PPDU includes a short training field, and a quantity of subcarriers of a frequency domain sequence of the short training field is greater than 2048; and sending the PPDU on a target channel, where a bandwidth of the target channel is greater than or equal to 160 MHz.
