摘要: To prevent heating of a holding table that holds a wafer when using a laser beam to process a wafer, a wafer holding mechanism has a wafer holder having a holding surface that holds a wafer and a suction part formed on an outer peripheral side of the wafer holder, with the wafer held to the holding surface by a suction force transmitted to the holding surface from the suction part through an outer peripheral edge part of the wafer holder. The wafer can be held in place with suction without forming fine holes that penetrate the wafer holder from a front surface thereof to a back surface thereof, and therefore a material of good permeability and dispersibility with respect to the wavelength of the laser light can be selected for the wafer holder.

摘要: An optical element retracting mechanism includes a linearly movable ring, a swingable holder positioned inside and supporting the linearly movable ring; a holding device holding the swingable holder, and a retracting device which rotates the swingable holder about a pivot such that the retractable optical element retracts to a position which deviates from the optical axis. The holding device includes an adjusting shaft and includes an eccentric pin, wherein the eccentric pin is engaged with the swingable holder to set a limit for rotational movement of the swingable holder, and a spring which biases the swingable holder to rotate the swingable holder in an advancing direction to engage the swingable holder with the eccentric pin. A position of the retractable optical element is varied in the operational state, in a plane generally orthogonal to the optical axis, by a rotation of the adjusting shaft.

摘要: In order to obtain an electromagnetic rotating machine of lightweight and high energy efficiency, which produces big torque for rotating a large-diameter fan, a coil A and coil B as excitation coils are disposed on an inner peripheral surface of a fan casing so as to face an outer circumference of the fan, and a coil M as an armature coil crosses at a central portion and is disposed on the outer circumference of the fan. The relationships |Iai|=|Iai+1| and Iai=−Iai+1, or |Ibi|=|Ibi+1| and Ibi=−Ibi+1 are obtained respectively for the coil A or coil B by a current control device (not shown). Moreover, the coil A and coil B are subjected to excitation control such that the direction of effective electromagnetic force, which is generated by an interaction between an effective magnetic field formed by the coil A and effective induced current applied to the coil M by the coil B, corresponds to the direction of rotation of the fan.

摘要: A lens barrel includes a rotatable ring, a non-rotatable outer annular member having a circumferential groove located on the inner peripheral surface thereof, an advancing/retracting mechanism configured to move the rotatable ring along the optical axis between movement limits of the rotatable ring, a rotational projection located on the outer peripheral surface of the rotatable ring such that the projection is engaged in the circumferential groove when the rotatable ring is moved to one of the movement limits, and a stopper which is insertable into and removable from the circumferential groove at an intermediate point between opposite ends of the groove. The stopper limits the range of rotation of the rotatable ring relative to the outer annular member by engaging the rotational projection in a state where the stopper is positioned in the circumferential groove, and the stopper stops preventing the range of rotation of the rotatable ring in a state where the stopper is positioned outside the circumferential groove.
