Abstract: The present application discloses a discovery method and device, and relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, to resolve a problem that existing two communication parties cannot accurately discover each other, and then it cannot be ensured that the two communication parties perform service communication in a Prose manner. The method provided in the present application includes: sending a discovery message, where the discovery message includes application layer identifier information of a discovery target, and the discovery target is at least one target user or at least one communications group of a first user that uses the first MCPTT UE; and receiving a response message sent by second MCPTT UE, where the response message includes a layer 2 identifier of the second MCPTT UE and an application layer identifier of a user that uses the second MCPTT UE.

Abstract: This application provides a parameter determining method and a communications entity. The method includes: When UE is in a system in which an EPS network and a 5GS network interwork, the UE is currently located in the 5GS network, and used QoS parameters include an authorized UE AMBR and an authorized session AMBR of a session. Because of movement of the UE, the UE needs to be handed over to the EPS network, and QoS parameters that need to be used for the UE in the EPS network include an authorized UE AMBR and an authorized APN AMBR. The authorized APN AMBR is determined by a first communications entity based on at least one of a subscribed APN AMBR or the authorized session AMBR of the PDU session, and the authorized UE AMBR is determined by a second communications entity based on the authorized APN AMBR.

The method includes: receiving, by a first communications device, a first association request sent by a second communications device, where the first association request includes an identifier of an MCPTT user and identifiers of N MCPTT groups, and N is a positive integer; associating the MCPTT user with M MCPTT groups of the N MCPTT groups according to association subscription information of the MCPTT user; and sending a first association response to the second communications device, where the first association response is used to indicate that the MCPTT user is successfully associated with the M MCPTT groups of the N MCPTT groups, 1≤M≤N, and M is an integer. In this way, the MCPTT user is associated with the M MCPTT groups that the MCPTT user is interested in.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for setting an MCPTT group, a device, and a system. A first network device receives a group selection request, where the group selection request is used to instruct to set a first MCPTT group as a selected MCPTT group for a first MCPTT user; and the first network device sends, according to the group selection request, information about the first MCPTT group to first UE used by the first MCPTT user, so that the first network device can set the first MCPTT group as a selected MCPTT group for the first MCPTT user. In this way, a function of setting, by one MCPTT user or a network system, a selected MCPTT group for another MCPTT user is implemented.

A false base station may attack a terminal in a denial of service manner, and consequently, the terminal cannot access the false base station after selecting the false base station, in other words, the terminal fails to set up a connection to a cell. Abstract: A secure communication method and apparatus are disclosed, to ensure security of a direct communication between terminal devices. In this application, a first terminal device may receive a key generation parameter from a first network element, where the key generation parameter includes a ProSe temporary identity of the first terminal device. Then, the first terminal device may generate a first discovery key based on the key generation parameter. The first terminal device sends a ProSe request message, where the ProSe request message includes the ProSe temporary identity and a message integrity code, and the message integrity code is generated based on the discovery key. The second terminal device receives the ProSe request message, and verifies the first terminal device based on the message integrity code, to ensure the security of a direct communication between the first terminal device and the second terminal device.

An access device may determine a user plane security active state of a multicast DRB in a PDU session, and indicate the user plane security active state of the multicast DRB to a terminal, where the user plane security active state includes whether integrity protection is activated and/or whether confidentiality protection is activated. In addition, the access device configures a multicast PDCP layer entity based on the user plane security active state of the DRB for transmitting multicast service data. The access device may further determine a user plane security active state of a unicast DRB, indicate the user plane security active state to the terminal, and modify a unicast PDCP layer entity.
