Abstract: Embodiments of this application relate to the communications field, and provide a terminal synchronization method and a terminal. A terminal sends synchronization signals in a distributed manner by controlling a sequence for sending the synchronization signals, so that terminals in a vehicle to vehicle communications system can have uniform timing. The method includes: obtaining, by a terminal, a configurable transmission period for sending a first synchronization signal; and sending, by the terminal, the first synchronization signal based on the configurable transmission period.

Abstract: This application relates to the wireless communications field, and discloses a random access method and apparatus, to resolve a problem of how a terminal device selects an uplink to perform random access. The method includes: selecting, by a terminal device, a first uplink from at least two preconfigured uplinks to perform random access; and selecting, by the terminal device when random access performed by using the first uplink fails, a second uplink from the at least two uplinks to perform random access, where the at least two uplinks are communications links between the terminal device and a first network device, the first network device and the terminal device are located in a same cell, the first uplink is a normal uplink NUL, and the second uplink is a supplementary uplink SUL. In this way, the terminal device selects an uplink to perform random access.

Abstract: A path switching method includes: determining, by a base station, to switch a first terminal device from a first communication link to a second communication link, and sending, to the first terminal device by using a second terminal device, access information required by the first terminal device to access the base station, so that the first terminal device establishes the second communication link to the base station based on the access information. In the method, the second terminal device may release the first communication link before or after the second communication link is established, or may release the first communication link in a process of establishing the second communication link.

Abstract: In the embodiments of the present invention, a base station can determine a relay communication period of remote user equipment by using indication information carried in a resource request of relay user equipment or by using a resource request of the remote user equipment, and allocate a resource in the relay communication period to the relay user equipment, so that the relay user equipment returns a response message to the remote user equipment by using the resource. Therefore, for a request message sent by the remote user equipment, it can be ensured that the relay user equipment returns, in the relay communication period, a response message corresponding to the request message to the remote user equipment, to avoid a case in which the remote user equipment cannot detect the response message, and to reduce a failure probability of a service requested by the remote user equipment.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an uplink subcarrier spacing indication method, a base station, and a terminal. The base station determines indication information that is used to indicate a first uplink subcarrier spacing supported by the base station, and communicates with the terminal according to the indication information. During the communication, the base station indicates the first uplink subcarrier spacing supported by the base station to the terminal, so that the terminal subsequently determines, based on the first uplink subcarrier spacing, a second uplink subcarrier spacing supported by the terminal; or the base station receives information that is sent by the terminal and that carries a second uplink subcarrier spacing, in other words, receives an indication from the terminal, so as to learn of the second uplink subcarrier spacing supported by the terminal or to be used by the terminal to send an uplink signal.

There may be one or more first subframes; the second subframe may be a candidate subframe, and there may be one or more candidate subframes. The indication information includes information that can indicate a resource reserved by a second terminal, that is, indication information that can indicate a resource excluded by the second terminal.

Abstract: A slot scheduling method and apparatus are provided. A determined slot includes a first slot, the first slot includes a first idle time, and a time interval between a start moment of the first idle time and a start moment of the first slot is less than or equal to a preset time interval threshold, or a time interval between a start moment of the first idle time and an end moment of at least one OFDM symbol that is in the first slot and that is used to transmit control signaling is less than or equal to a preset time interval threshold. No first service is scheduled in the first idle time, thereby providing a transmission opportunity for a second service. In addition, time-domain locations of uplink transmission and downlink transmission of the first service and the second service do not overlap.
