    Abstract: A display device in one embodiment according to the present invention includes a first region including a light emitting layer, a first nitride insulating layer over the light emitting layer, a first organic insulating layer over the first nitride insulating layer, a second nitride insulating layer over the first organic insulating layer, and a third nitride insulating layer over the second nitride insulating layer. The second nitride insulating layer is in contact with the first organic insulating layer and the third nitride insulating layer. An absolute value of a stress of the second nitride insulating layer is greater than or equal to an absolute value of a stress of the first nitride insulating layer and less than an absolute value of a stress of the third nitride insulating layer.

    Abstract: A display device is provided including a pixel region arranging a plurality of pixels on a planar surface on the first side of a substrate, a sealing layer covering a surface on the opposite side of the substrate side of the pixel region, a first detection electrode extending in a direction on a layer above the pixel region on the side where the sealing layer is provided, and a second detection electrode extending in a direction intersecting with the direction in another layer different from that of the first detection electrode in a layer above the pixel region. The sealing layer including at least an organic resin film, a first inorganic insulating film, and a second inorganic insulating film, the first detection electrode or the second detection electrode is provided above the organic resin layer, the other electrode is provided below the organic resin layer.

A peripheral part of the first inorganic layer and a peripheral part of the second inorganic layer are connected around an outer perimeter of the organic layer and vertically overlap with each other so as not to cover an edge surface of each other's from a lateral side.     Abstract: A substrate including a light-emitting element and a terminal for connection to the outside is prepared. The light-emitting element includes a light-emitting layer, an anode, and a cathode. The anode and the cathode interpose the light-emitting layer therebetween. A sealing layer is formed on the substrate so as to cover the light-emitting element and the terminal. An amorphous carbon film is formed on the sealing layer so as to cover a region above the light-emitting element and avoid a region above the terminal. The sealing layer is dry-etched so as to expose the terminal from the sealing layer using the amorphous carbon film as a mask. The amorphous carbon film is removed.
