    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a substrate, a conductive layer provided over a display area and extending to outside of the display area above the substrate, a plurality of lower electrodes provided in matrix in the display area above the conductive layer, a rib formed of an inorganic insulating material and including a plurality of apertures overlapping the lower electrodes, respectively, an organic layer provided on the lower electrodes in the apertures, and an upper electrode which is provided on the organic layer, is formed in a belt-like shape and is in contact with the conductive layer in both end portions located outside the display area.

    Abstract: Different groups include the same type of control lines. The first control lines are arranged such that control lines of different types belonging to each of group are adjacent to each other. In the second area, the second control lines are arranged such that control lines of different types belonging to each group are adjacent to each other. In the non-display area, the second control lines are arranged such that control lines of the same type belonging to different groups are adjacent to each other. The capacitor electrode includes portions connected to each other and arranged in the second direction. Each portion faces each other for control lines of the same type adjacent in the non-display area. Any of the portions and any of the other portions differ in width in the first direction.

    Abstract: A multi-piece substrate integrally having a plurality of product regions each provided with a light-emitting element driven by a current and a blank region adjacent to each of the plurality of product regions is prepared. The current is passed through a cathode pad and an anode pad to inspect the light-emitting element. A plurality of display panels are cut out from the multi-piece substrate so as to respectively correspond to the plurality of product regions. The multi-piece substrate includes a plurality of first test pads disposed in each of the plurality of product regions for inspecting the light-emitting element, and a plurality of second test pads disposed in the blank region for inspecting the light-emitting element. The cathode pad and the anode pad are included in the plurality of first test pads and are not included in the plurality of second test pads.
