    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display panel including a display area which displays images, a non-display area surrounding the display area, and a bend area in the non-display area, a first optical film located on the display panel and comprising an end portion which overlaps the bend area, an adhesive layer which adheres the first optical film and the display panel together and a non-adhesive layer located between the first optical film and the display panel, while overlapping the bend area, wherein the non-adhesive layer is in contact with an upper surface of the display panel.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a first terminal group which is disposed on a front surface of a flexible first substrate having the front surface and is electrically connected to a plurality of pixel electrodes; a second terminal group which is disposed on a back surface of a second substrate and is electrically connected to a plurality of first electrodes of the second substrate; a display region which is disposed on each of the first substrate and the second substrate and overlaps a liquid crystal layer; and first and second peripheral regions which are disposed on the first substrate and the second substrate and located on an outer side of an adhesive. The first terminal group is formed in a first terminal arrangement region of the first peripheral region of the first substrate. The second terminal group is formed in a second terminal arrangement region of the second peripheral region of the second substrate. The first peripheral region is bent toward one side in a Z direction.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a flexible base, a display area, first lines arranged in a first direction, pixel electrodes, and a first inorganic insulating layer contacting the lines. The display area includes a first area in which the lines are arranged in the first direction at a first pitch and a second area in which the lines are arranged in the first direction at a second pitch greater than the first pitch, and the second area is located between the first area and an edge of the base in the first direction. In the second area, the first inorganic insulating layer comprises a first slit extending along the lines between adjacent lines.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display comprises first and second substrates and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate comprises pixel electrodes and a common electrode in a display area. The display area includes a first display area and a second display area which is closer to an edge of the display area than the first display area. The pixel electrodes include first and second pixel electrodes, the first pixel electrode being located in a pixel in the first display area, the second pixel electrode being located in a pixel in the second display area. A second area by which the second pixel electrode and the common electrode face each other is greater than a first area by which the first pixel electrode and the common electrode face each other.
