摘要： A watertight hinge closure for a dispensing container. The closure has a lid with a solid unitary one-piece hinge which snaps shut onto a cap body integrally formed therewith. The lid and hinge are formed to leave a minimal space between the lid, the hinge and the cap body when the closure is in the shut position. The top of the cap body has a raised portion which is angled toward the snap fit portion of the lid opposite the hinge to prevent seepage and to avoid stagnant areas which could cause contamination.

摘要： An anti-tamper container closure assembly includes a container having a orifice defining neck which receives a closure cap. The container has a plurality of projecting anti-rotation teeth positioned below the bottom of the closure cap and an overcap is adapted to be snapped over the closure cap, the overcap having a skirt with inner diameter projecting anti-rotation ribs which index with the container teeth to prevent rotation of the overcap. The overcap is effective to prevent opening of the orifice and is provided with frangeable connecting portions allowing a part of the overcap to be removed from the assembly to provide access to the closure cap for an opening actuation of the closure cap. The overcap skirt is provided with an inner diameter ledge which abuts a closure cap outer diameter ledge to prevent removal of the overcap skirt.

摘要： A closure with a snap type hinge cap comprising a first part adapted to interengage with the open neck of a container, a second part forming a cap and an integral hinge interconnecting the first and second parts. Each of the first and second parts comprises a base wall and a peripheral skirt. A pair of hinge straps extends from the skirts and are positioned on opposite sides of the integral hinge. The radial length of the pair of hinge straps is less than the length of the arc through which the second cap part moves to and from and closed position relative to the first part such that the pair of straps stretch to function as springs. The ends of the pair of straps are attached to the skirts radially inwardly of the periphery of the skirts.

摘要： An improved spout for a dispensing closure of the swivel-spout type for use with a container for fluent substances has a hollow cylindrical knuckle received with a snap fit in mating bearing openings in a base for rotatable relation therewith to position the spout between "on" and "off" positions. A hollow nozzle intersects the knuckle wall. The knuckle has sealing and sliding contact with pads on the base and with a protuberant ring circumjacent a passage in the base for exit of the contents of the container through the bore of the nozzle when the spout is in the "on" position.
