    摘要： This disclosure relates to a lid assembly that has a lid assembly for a container, such as a drinking container, that includes a lid member, and a pouring member, wherein the lid member and pouring member are releasably connected to the container. The lid member may include a body member, a handle portion connected to the body member, an internal threaded portion, an internal receiving portion, and a lid gasket member arranged in the internal receiving portion. The pouring member may include a spout collar, a spout, and a spout opening extending through the spout, wherein the spout extends from the spout collar and includes an upper end above an upper surface of the spout collar. The lid assembly has a closed orientation that prevents liquid from flowing through the opening of the pouring member and an open orientation that allows liquid to flow through the opening of the pouring member. When the lid assembly is in the closed orientation, the lid gasket member contacts both the upper end of the spout and the upper surface of the spout collar.

    摘要： An article of manufacture for providing a multi-purpose lid and container according to the present invention includes a hollow container having an open end and an inside cavity and a multi-purpose lid for coupling to the open end of the hollow container to enclose the inside cavity. The multi-purpose lid includes a lid frame configured to match the open end of the hollow container, a filtered lid having a first open and a first closed position and a plurality of filter holes through its surface, an outer lid having a second open and a second closed position and a solid surface and positioned to cover the filtered lid when the filtered lid is in the first closed position and the outer lid is in the second closed position, and a hinge coupled between the lid frame and both the filtered lid and the outer lid, the hinge permits the filtered lid to move between the first open and the first closed position and the outer lid to move between the second open and the second closed position.
