    Abstract: A tamper-evident container includes a tape (46). The tape is designed to break apart when the lid is opened for the first time. In some embodiments, a cap and lid are clear and see-through which allows a customer to see if the tape is torn apart and know whether the product has been tampered with. Some embodiments also include at least one screw thread (84) on a body neck (50) on the top of the container body (10) and on an inner wall (60) of a container cap (12). A removable gummy glue (62) or other adhesion mechanism is adhered on top of a mouth cover (66). When the container cap is unscrewed for the first time, the gummy glue is designed to indicate tampering. For example, the glue could be stretched, come apart, or separate from the mouth cover, or the underside of the cap, or distort an image that was on the gummy glue, such as a manufacturer's logo, name, trademark, or design, or leave an image from the mouth cover on the gummy glue, visually indicating that the container has been opened at least once.

    Abstract: An opening device for a package having a pour opening comprises a closing element detachably and/or rupturably attached to a contact portion. The closing element comprises a main wall detachably and/or rupturably attached to the contact portion and a pulling device connected to the main wall to allow for exertion of a separation force on the main wall to detach the closing element from the contact portion. The pulling device comprises leg elements connected to and transversally extending from the main wall and a coupling structure connected to the leg elements. Each leg element comprises an elongated pillar extending along a longitudinal axis and at least one stiffening rib connected to a connection portion of the pillar. Each connection portion has a first extension along the respective longitudinal axis that equals or is less than half of a second extension along the respective longitudinal axis of the respective pillar.

    Abstract: A fuel cap assembly according to an example of the present disclosure includes a fuel cap and a pipe stub that extends from the fuel cap and defines a first internal passage. A sensor element and a fuel tube are adjacent to each other and both extend from the fuel cap through the first internal passage. A cylindrical coupler is composed of an elastomer and defines a second internal passage that extends between an inlet port and an outlet port.     Abstract: A container closure and methods are disclosed for providing visible evidence of removal of the closure from a container after installation by a manufacturer. The closure includes tamper evidence bridges comprising small tabs of material that extend from a bottom-most edge of the closure to a tamper evidence ledge of the container. The bridges break when the closure is rotated relative to the tamper evidence ledge, thereby providing readily visible evidence that the closure has been removed after installation by the manufacturer. In some embodiments, a tamper evidence closure engages with threads of a finish of the container. Cam locks around the perimeter of the tamper evidence closure are permanently flared by cams on the finish during loosening of the closure. Outward flaring of the cam locks provides a visual indication that the tamper evidence closure has been loosened after installation by a manufacturer.
