    摘要: A cam actuator for selectively moving cam elements axially between distinct operative positions in a circular knitting machine, the actuator including a series of adjacent pistions arranged along the axial line of displacement, and stop means for limiting the axial stroke of each piston in the direction of extension. Each piston co-operates with adjacent pistons in the series such that displacement of a given piston in the extend direction causes the remaining pistons located between the cam element and the given piston to be displaced in the extend direction by the stroke length undergone by the given piston.

    摘要: A weft yarn insertion apparatus for a weaving loom, the apparatus including a main fluid nozzle for inserting a length of weft yarn into the warp shed, a pair of nip rollers, for positively feeding the weft yarn into the main nozzle, the nip rollers being located immediately upstream of the main nozzle to enable the nip rollers to propel the leading end of the yarn through the nozzle and into the shed, and a weft yarn guide immediately upstream of the nip rollers, the guide being movable to selectively introduce and withdraw the weft yarn beteween the pair of nip rollers. The rollers are driven so as to project the weft yarn into the shed at a speed in excess of the given speed normally imparted to the yarn by the main nozzle when the yarn is introduced between the rollers. When withdrawn, the rollers permit the nozzle to project the yarn at the given speed.

    摘要: A dual sensor camera that uses two aligned sensors each having a separate lens of different focal length but the same f-number. The wider FOV image from one sensor is combined with the narrower FOV image from the other sensor to form a combined image. Up-sampling of the wide FOV image and down-sampling of the narrow FOV image is performed. The longer focal length lens may have certain aberrations introduced so that Extended Depth of Field (EDoF) processing can be used to give the narrow FOV image approximately the same depth of field as the wide FOV image so that a noticeable difference in depth of field is not see in the combined image.
