    摘要： A powder meter tube includes a metering tube and a metering assembly. The metering assembly is retained in the metering tube. The metering tube includes a nut cutout and a graduated slot. The metering assembly includes a threaded shaft, a micrometer nut, a piston and a bearing. A threaded hole is formed through the micrometer nut to threadably receive the threaded shaft. The bearing includes a base and two spring fingers that extend from the base. The piston is pressed on to one end of the threaded shaft and the bearing pressed on to an opposite end of the threaded shaft. The spring fingers allow the metering assembly to be inserted into the metering tube and the micrometer nut to protrude through the nut cutout. In use, the micrometer nut is rotated in either direction to increase or decrease the powder capacity in the metering tube.

    摘要： An apparatus for acetone clearing of cellulose or nitrate membrane filters includes an elongated electric heater element with tubing for transporting acetone coiled around said heater element and in contact therewith. Liquid acetone is introduced to said tubing wherein it is heated by said heater element and acetone vapor is discharged from said tubing. The temperature of the coiled tubing is thermostatically controlled. Acetone vapor is removed from said tubing and passed over a glass slide having an exposed filter containing particulars, such as asbestos fibers. The vapors clear the filter to render it translucent for examination in optical microscopy.

The decapping pin is press fitted in the rod. The bullet seater die is provided with a capped adjusting screw in which the bullet seater element floats so it adjusts itself into alignment when a bullet on a casing is rammed into it.

    摘要： Aliphatic hydrocarbon-substituted sulfonic acids, sulfonyl chlorides, amino sulfonic acids, sulfonamides and alkaline earth metal salts of such acids whose hydrocarbon substituent has an average molecular weight in the range of 300 to 200,000 are novel, useful compounds readily prepared through reaction of chlorosulfonic acid with a polymeric hydrocarbon having at least one carbon to carbon double bond as in the liquid to solid polypropene and polybutene or copolymer of two or more C.sub.2 to C.sub.6 unsaturated hydrocarbons having said average molecular weight. Such sulfonic acids, sulfonyl chlorides, amino sulfonic acids, sulfonamides and alkaline earth metal salts of the acid are soluble in hydrocarbon feeds (i.e., gasoline, diesel and heating fuels) and in lubricating oils as are the alkaline earth metal salts of such acids.

    摘要： A case trimmer and chamfer tool preferably includes a trim die, an end cutter, a crank, an outer chamfer blade, an inner chamfer blade and a height adjustment ring. The end cutter is slidably retained in the trim die. The inner and outer chamfer blades are spring loaded. The end cutter trims a length of the cartridge case. The inner and outer wall of the cartridge case are chamfered by the inner and outer chamfer blades. An adjustment boss extends downward from one end of the crank and a rotating knob is retained on the other end thereof. The end cutter is retained in the adjustment boss. The height adjustment ring is retained on the adjustment boss. A second embodiment is adapted for handling straight cartridge cases instead of rifle cartridge cases. The case trimmer and chamfer tool and a cartridge case are retained in a loading press.
