摘要： In a service providing system, a client includes a transmitting unit configured to transmit specification information associated with specifications of the client to the management server, a receiving unit configured to receive registration completion information from a management server, a transmitting unit configured to transmit a request for service information to a service providing server, and a service prohibition unit configured to prevent receipt of the service information from the service providing server until the registration completion information is received after transmission of the specification information. The management server includes a receiving unit configured to receive the specification information, an information registration unit configured to register the received specification information while associating the specification information with the client, and a transmitting unit configured to transmit the registration completion information indicating completion of registration of the specification information to the client. The service providing server includes a receiving unit configured to receive the request for service information from the client, and an information generation unit configured to generate the service information based on the specification information, in response to receipt of the request for service information.

摘要： A contents providing system includes a communication unit, a print control unit, an expendable amount deriving unit and an expendable amount storing control unit. The communication unit communicates with a contents server having contents data. The print control unit controls a printer to print the contents data and output a printed material imaging the contents data if the communication unit receives the contents data from the contents server. The expendable amount deriving unit derives an amount of an expendable item required for imaging the contents data in the printer. The expendable amount deriving unit derives the amount of the expendable item in accordance with a size of an image printed by the printer. The expendable amount storing control unit stores information representing the amount of the expendable item derived by the expendable amount deriving unit in a memory unit.

The image processing apparatus includes an image reading unit capable of reading an image from an original, a determining unit that determines a track back address that is used in correspondence with the image read by the image reading unit, and a data transmitting unit that transmits both image data indicative of the image read by the image reading unit, and address data indicative of the track back destination address determined by the determining unit to the server.

摘要： There is provided a communication device which has a first communication system that communicates with an external telephone device and a second communication system that communicates with an external computer. The communication device comprises a call unit and a data acquisition unit. The call unit makes a call to a telephone device designated by a user using the first communication system. If a destination of the call unit is decided by the user's designation, a data acquisition unit obtains data corresponding to the destination telephone device using the second communication system. By only making a call operation, the user can obtain the data corresponding to the destination telephone device from the communication device through the computer network which is a different kind of network from the telephone line network. That is, the communication device can reduce user's operations to access related devices over various kinds of networks.

摘要： An information terminal equipment communicable with a server via a network is disclosed. The equipment includes: a unit that enables the equipment to communicate with the server; and a selector that selects as a first content one of content elements represented by displaying data received from the server, based on the displaying data. The first content element is to be displayed on a display screen at a pre-selected display location. The equipment further includes: a transformer operable when a second printed image corresponding to a second content one of the content elements is to be printed over a plurality of consecutive pages, to transform the received displaying data into printed-image data for allowing a first printed image corresponding to the first content element to be printed on separate print-sheets redundantly over a sub-plurality of pages equal or the plurality of pages, at a pre-selected print location on each page.

摘要： There is provided a communication device which has a first communication system that communicates with an external telephone device and a second communication system that communicates with an external computer. The communication device comprises a call unit and a data acquisition unit. The call unit makes a call to a telephone device designated by a user using the first communication system. If a destination of the call unit is decided by the user's designation, a data acquisition unit obtains data corresponding to the destination telephone device using the second communication system.
