摘要： The present invention relates to methods for purifying immunogenic, prophylactically and therapeutically effective complexes of modified heat shock proteins noncovalently associated with antigenic peptides of cancer or infected cells. The claimed methods comprise the constructing of a nucleotide sequence encoding a secretable modified heat shock protein, expressing the sequence in an appropriate host cell, recovering the immunogenic complexes from the cell culture and the cells, and purifying the immunogenic complexes by affinity chromatography. Large amounts of such immunogenic complexes can be obtained by large-scale culturing of host cells containing the genetic sequence. The complexes can be used as a vaccine to elicit specific immune responses against cancer or infected cells, and to treat or prevent cancer or infectious diseases.

摘要： A strategy board game is disclosed. The board for the game or playmat is comprised of several distinct regions each with a specific purpose and/or rules associated with the region. The Battlefield region is where opposing players challenge one another with various game pieces. There is also a region for keeping certain game pieces while they await to be summoned to the Battlefield. Another region, the Graveyard, is were game pieces are placed after such game pieces are taken by an opponent. Another region of the playmat is designated for the storing of currency used during play. Certain game pieces have fixed properties and other have properties that can be changed by the player during the course of the game at strategic times. A player can change the properties of a game piece by paying the cost associated therewith using the currency he or she has earned by moving game pieces and/or taking an opponents game pieces. The game can be won by capturing a special game piece of the opponent; by moving a special game piece into across the length of the playmat and into the opponent's area for storing game pieces which have not been summoned; by changing the properties of a special game piece or through the surrender to the opponent.

The gap retainer secures a predetermined gap between the developer bearer and the gap retainer. The contact portion contacts, via a second seal, the gap retainer in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the developer bearer.

摘要： A powder amount detector includes a vibration plate secured to a powder container to contain powder and positioned at a predetermined position in a stationary state, a shaft to rotate inside the powder container, a contact member attached to the shaft, a vibration detector to detect vibration of the vibration plate, and a detection result processor to determine an amount of the powder in the powder container according to a detection result generated by the vibration detector. The contact member is to flip the vibration plate to cause the vibration plate to repeat elastic deformation and reversion to vibrate. The contact member is to exit an area opposed to the vibration plate after the contact member flips the vibration plate by the time the vibration plate returns to the predetermined position.
