Abstract: A document checking apparatus includes an image scanning device, a printing device, an output tray, and a controller. The image scanning device is configured to scan a document image sheet by sheet from a document including plural sheets. The output tray is as an output destination of both the document outputted from the image scanning device and a print sheet outputted from the printing device. The controller is configured to perform checking of the document image, and if an error is detected in the checking of the document image, control the printing device and thereby insert the print sheet as an interleaving sheet immediately before or immediately after a sheet where the error is detected.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a main body, a post-printing processing device, and a paper exit part. The main body forms an image on paper. The post-printing processing device is located above the main body and performs post-printing processing on paper. The paper exit part is located on a side surface of the post-printing processing device. Paper is ejected to the paper exit part. The post-printing processing device includes a paper inlet port and a conveyance device. The paper inlet port is located in a rear part of a lower surface of the post-printing processing device. The conveyance device conveys paper conveyed via the paper inlet port into the post-printing processing device in a forward direction thereof to a paper loading tray and conveys the paper therefrom leftward to eject the paper to the paper exit part located on the left side of the post-printing processing device.

Abstract: A binarization processing unit 11 performs a binarization process the basis of existence of at least one of lightness and chroma for a candidate image of template matching. A labeling processing unit 12 performs a labeling process for the binarized candidate image and thereby extracts a pixel block in the binarized candidate image. An outline determining unit 14 performs sampling of a position on an outermost periphery of the pixel block, and identifies a range from a centroid position of the pixel block and an angle from a predetermined direction as the position. A correlation determining unit 15 determines a correlation between the ranges and the angles of both the candidate image and the reference image on the basis of the reference outline data, and excludes the candidate image from a candidate of the template matching in accordance with degree of the correlation.

Abstract: An image reading apparatus includes an image reading unit for reading an image of a document at a reading position, a document feeding unit for discharging the document via the reading position, an abnormality detection unit for detecting a feeding abnormality, and a reading determination unit. The reading determination unit determines that the reading of the image of the fed document by the image reading unit is complete in a case where it is determined that a fed document, which is being fed by the document feeding unit, is not a final document, and it is detected that the leading edge of the fed document has reached the reading position, and when it is detected that the leading edge of the subsequent document has reached the reading position without the abnormality detection unit detecting any abnormality.
