    Abstract: A cleaning system may include a first mobile robot, a communication unit configured to communicate with a second mobile robot that emits a second signal, and a controller configured to recognize the location of the second mobile robot using the second signal, and control a moving speed of the first mobile robot such that the second mobile robot follows a trajectory corresponding to the movement of the first mobile robot based on the recognized location. The controller may transmit a first signal to the second mobile robot in response to the first mobile robot approaching the second mobile robot to within a distance less than a threshold distance from the second mobile robot, and control avoidance moving of the first mobile robot and the second mobile robot based on the second signal of the second mobile robot responding to the first signal.

    Abstract: A plurality of autonomous mobile robots include a first mobile robot and a second mobile robot. The first mobile robot is provided with a plurality of transmitting optical sensors for outputting light and a first module for transmitting and receiving a Ultra-Wideband (UWB) signal. The second mobile robot is provided with a plurality of receiving optical sensors for receiving light and a second module for transmitting and receiving the UWB signal. A control unit of the second mobile robot determines an angle at which the first mobile robot is located with respect to a front of the second mobile robot using the light. The control unit also determines a distance from the second mobile robot to the first mobile robot using the UWB signal, and determines a relative position of the first mobile robot based on the angle and the distance.

    Abstract: A vacuum cleaner according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a cleaner body having a moving unit; a suction unit configured to suction dust and air; a detecting unit configured to detect movement of the suction unit; and a control part configured to determine whether movement of the cleaner body is required, based on information detected by the suction unit, and to control the moving unit when the movement of the cleaner body is required, wherein the control part determines a target location to which the cleaner body will be moved, determines a moving route to the target location based on a detected obstacle, controls the moving unit so that the cleaner body is moved along the determined moving route, stops a motor when it is determined that the cleaner body is not in contact with a floor surface, and thus prevents a user's injury.
