摘要: A portable vacuum cleaner has an air treatment chamber, a pre-motor filter positioned downstream from the air treatment chamber, a body including a suction motor, the suction motor is positioned in the air flow passage downstream from the pre-motor filter. A handle is provided on the body. The pre-motor filter has a first end, an axially spaced apart second end, a sidewall extends between the first end of the pre-motor filter and the axially spaced apart second end, wherein the sidewall comprises a filter material surrounding an open interior providing a filtered air flow path, the axially spaced apart second end is open whereby, after passing through the sidewall, air enters the filtered air flow path and passes through the open axially spaced apart second end. The longitudinal air treatment chamber axis and the motor axis extend in the same direction and each extend through the open interior.

摘要: A vacuuming broom assembly includes a vacuum pack that is wearable on a user's back. The vacuum pack has an intake for urging air inwardly therein when the vacuum pack is turned on and a suction hose is fluidly coupled to the intake. A broom is provided that has a head and a handle. A suction manifold is coupled to the broom and the suction manifold has a pair of inlet ports and an exhaust port. The suction hose is fluidly coupled to the exhaust port such that the suction manifold is in fluid communication with the vacuum unit. Each of the inlet ports is aligned with the head of the broom for sucking up debris that is produced from sweeping. In this way the vacuum unit reduces airborne particles produced from sweeping.

摘要: An apparatus and method for monitoring the productivity of a portable machine are provided. The method includes receiving motion data for at least one component of the portable machine from a multi-axis accelerometer, receiving position data for the at least one component from a process parameter sensor communicatively coupled to the at least one component, and determining, based on the received motion data and the received position data that the at least one component is oriented in a predetermined position for productive operation. The method also includes determining an area of productive operation using at least one physical dimension of the at least one component and the received motion data when the at least one component is oriented in the predetermined position for productive operation and incrementing a total area counter based on the determination.

摘要: A hand held surface cleaning apparatus has a fluid flow path extending from a dirty fluid inlet provided at a front end of the hand held surface cleaning apparatus to a clean air outlet, the fluid flow path including a separator and a suction motor, wherein the suction motor is positioned rearward of the dirty fluid inlet. A separation stage comprising the separator, a solid collection chamber in communication with a separated element outlet of the separator and a separated liquid reservoir in communication with the solid collection chamber is provided. The solid collection chamber is positioned rearward of the separated liquid reservoir and the separator is positioned rearward of the solid collection chamber.
