Abstract: A refrigerator a duct arranged to partition an inner space of a storage chamber body into a storage chamber and an air flow channel, wherein the duct has an ejection hole defined therein; a roll-bond evaporator disposed in the air flow channel, wherein the roll-bond evaporator has a top and a bottom, a left end and a right end; a blowing fan configured to draw air from the storage chamber to blow the air into the air flow channel; and a defrost sensor closer to one of the top and bottom than the other of the top and the bottom, wherein said one is closer to the blowing fan than the other, wherein the sensor is closer to one of the left end and the right end than the other of the left end and the right end.

Abstract: A refrigeration cycle of a refrigerator includes a first refrigeration cycle in which a first refrigerant flows along a first refrigerant tube and a second refrigeration cycle in which a second refrigerant flows along a second refrigerant tube. First and second compressors compress each of the first and second refrigerants, and a combined condenser condenses each of the first and second refrigerants. First and second expansion valves phase-change each of the first and second refrigerants passing through the combined condenser, and first and second evaporators change the refrigerant passing through each of the first and second expansion valves into a low-temperature low-pressure gaseous refrigerant.

Abstract: A cooling cycle apparatus for a refrigerator includes a first compressor, a condenser for condensing a refrigerant compressed in the first compressor, a first expansion device for lowering a temperature and a pressure of a portion of the condensed refrigerant, a first evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant, a second expansion device for lowering a temperature and a pressure of a remaining portion of the refrigerant, a gas-liquid separator for separating a liquid-phase refrigerant from a gas-phase refrigerant in the refrigerant, a third expansion device for lowering a temperature and a pressure of the liquid-phase refrigerant, a second evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant that has passed through the third expansion device, and a second compressor for compressing the refrigerant that has passed through the second evaporator and transferring the refrigerant to the first compressor, wherein the refrigerant that has passed through the first evaporator and the gas-phase refrigerant separated in the gas-liquid separator are introduced into the first compressor together with the refrigerant compressed in the second compressor.

According to the refrigerator, it is possible to maximize the volume of the storage compartment and separately discharge air to the main discharge port and the sub-discharge port, using a simple structure.
