Abstract: A refrigerator according to the present disclosure includes a first tray configured to form a portion of each of a plurality of ice making cells, and a second tray configured to be rotatable with respect to the first tray and to form the other portion of each of the plurality of ice making cells, in which water supply is performed at the water supply position of the second tray, when water supply is completed, the second tray is moved to the ice making position, and one or more of the first tray and the second tray is provided with a communication hole for communicating the plurality of ice making cells at the ice making position of the second tray.

Abstract: A refrigerator according to the present invention comprises: a storage chamber for storing food; a cold air supply means for supplying cold air to the storage chamber; a first tray forming one part of an ice making cell which is a space in which water is phase-changed into ice by means of the cold air; a second tray forming the other part of the ice making cell and connected to a driving unit so as to come into contact with the first tray during an ice making process and be separated from the first tray in an ice separating process; a heater positioned adjacent to the first tray and/or the second tray; an operation unit for inputting a start command of a test mode; and a control unit for controlling the heater and/or the driving unit in the test mode, wherein, if the start command of the test mode is input during the operation of the heater, the control unit turns the heater off and operates the driving unit such that the second tray moves.

Abstract: A refrigerator according to the present invention comprises: a storage compartment for storing food; a first temperature sensor for sensing the temperature in the storage compartment; a door for opening and closing the storage compartment; a cold air supply means for supplying cold air into the storage compartment; trays forming ice-making cells which are spaces in which water changes phase into ice due to the cold air; a second temperature sensor for sensing the temperature of the water or ice in the ice-making cells; a heater for supplying heat to the trays; and a control unit for controlling the heater, wherein, after opening or closing of the door is sensed during the ice-making process, the control unit increases the cooling power of the cold air supply means if an increase in cooling power therefrom is determined to be needed on the basis of the temperature sensed by the first temperature sensor, and decreases the amount of heat applied by the heater if a reduction in heat applied by the heater is determined to be needed on the basis of the change in temperature sensed by the second temperature sensor.
