Abstract: A bearing frame or cylinder head cover of an internal combustion engine may include at least one camshaft mounted therein. The camshaft may be tunnel-mounted in at least two bearing openings arranged along a bearing channel. At least two radial bearings may be arranged on the camshaft, each of the radial bearings having an outer bearing shell. The outer bearing shells of the at least two radial bearings may include different outer diameters, each of the respective outer diameters adapted to be complementary to an inner diameter of the associated bearing opening. The inner diameters of the bearing openings may decrease in a direction of assembly of the camshaft along the bearing channel.

Abstract: An adjustable camshaft may include an inner shaft and an outer shaft coaxially surrounding the inner shaft. A cam may have a cam body and a ring collar axially projecting from the cam body. The ring collar may be slidingly arranged with a radial gap on the outer shaft and have a receptacle for pinning together the cam and the inner shaft with a pin. A seal may be arranged in a region of the ring collar for sealing the gap.

Abstract: A shaft may have functional elements arranged thereon and at least one bearing point. At least one rolling bearing with rolling bodies may be arranged between the shaft and the at least one bearing point, the bearing having at least one rolling body cage configured to accommodate the rolling bodies and an outer ring. The rolling body cage may be fixed at least one of directly and indirectly to the shaft by a carrier ring and the outer ring may be fixed in the bearing point. The carrier ring may include the rolling body cage fixed thereon, the cage having a greater radial extent than the functional elements. The carrier ring may have a radial extent smaller than the greatest radial extent of one of the functional elements.
