    Abstract: A staple collation includes a first staple, an identical second staple adjacent the first staple, and an adhesive material coupling the first staple to the second staple. Each of the first staple and the second staple includes a crown section having opposite ends and a pair of leg sections extending from the opposite ends of the crown section. The second staple is offset from the first staple in a first, lateral direction, and the second staple is offset from the first staple in a second, vertical direction that is perpendicular to the lateral direction.

    Abstract: A gas spring-powered fastener driver includes a cylinder, a storage chamber cylinder having pressurized air in communication with the cylinder, a moveable piston positioned within the cylinder, a driver blade extending from a first side of the piston and movable therewith between a top-dead-center position and a bottom-dead-center position, a one-way seal carried onboard the piston and disposed between the piston and the cylinder, the one-way seal being configured permit a bypass flow of pressurized air from the first side of the piston, past the one-way seal, and into a space within the cylinder adjacent an opposite, second side of the piston during movement of the piston and driver blade from the top-dead-center position to the bottom-dead-center position, thereby increasing a pressure of the pressurized air within the cylinder and storage chamber cylinder, and a pressure relief valve in fluid communication with the storage chamber cylinder.

    Abstract: An electric motor including a stator, a rotor that is at least partially received within the stator and that has a rotor shaft, and a bearing. The bearing has an inner race that is coupled to the rotor shaft, and an outer race. The motor also includes a bearing mount that has a pocket in which the outer race is at least partially received, and a clamp assembly that is configured to apply a clamping force to the inner race and to thereby rotationally unitize the inner race with the rotor shaft. An interface element positioned is between the outer race and the bearing mount. The interface element is configured to apply a frictional force to the outer race to prevent rotation of the outer race relative to the bearing mount in response to rotation of the rotor shaft.

    Abstract: A gas spring-powered fastener driver includes a cylinder, a moveable piston, a driver blade attached to the piston, the driver blade movable with the piston, a lifter including a rotary component operably coupled to the driver blade to move the driver blade from a driven position to a ready position, and a multi-stage planetary transmission. The transmission includes an output shaft operatively coupled to the lifter to provide torque thereto, a first bearing supporting a first portion of the output shaft for rotation, a second bearing supporting a second portion of the output shaft for rotation. The fastener driver also includes a housing having a cylinder support portion in which the cylinder is received and a transmission housing portion in which the first and second bearings are received to rotatably support the output shaft.     Abstract: A fastener driver includes a magazine having a latch member and a pusher slidably coupled to the magazine. The pusher includes a body and a lever movably coupled to the body. The body is configured to contact one of the fasteners for biasing the fasteners toward a nosepiece. The lever includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end. A spring is configured to bias the first end of the lever away from the body of the pusher. The first end of the lever is configured to selectively engage the latch member when the pusher is moved toward a second end of the magazine for retaining the pusher in a rearward position. The second end of the lever is movable by a user for releasing the engagement between the first end of the lever and the latch member.
