Abstract:
A single chip multi-voltage or multi-brightness LED lighting device having at least two LED circuits having at least two LEDs connected seπes, and electrically unconnected in a parallel relationship, a forward operating dπve voltage of at least six volts and are monolithically integrated on a single substrate, configurable by means of connecting the circuits so as to provide optional operating voltage level and/or desired brightness level wherein the electrical connection at the LED packaging level when the single chips are integrated into the LED package Alternatively, the LED package may have external electrical contacts that match the integrated chips within Optionally allowable, the drive voltage level and/or the brightness level select-ability may be passed on through to the exterior of the LED package and may be selected by the LED package user, the PCB assembly facility, or the end product manufacturer.
Abstract:
An AC-driven LED circuit includes a first circuit having a first branch and a second branch which connect at first and second common point The common points provide input and output for an AC driving current from a driver of the circuit The first branch has first LED and second LED, the first LED being connected to second LED in opposing series relationship with the inputs of the first and second LEDs defining a first branch junction A second branch has a third LED and a fourth LED, the third LED is connected to the fourth LED in opposing series relationship with the outputs of the third and fourth LEDs defining a second branch junction Improvement in performance and scalability is provided by adding n diodes to a given basic circuit and x cross connecting circuit branch diodes and providing one or more basic circuits in series and or basic.
Abstract:
An electronic visual display system with an integrated general lighting system including an electronic visual display having a housing and one or more lighting devices integrated therewith to provide light to one or more spaces external to the electronic visual display housing. The lighting devices have an independent on and off state which allows for the lighting devices to be in the on state independent of the on and off state of the electronic visual display. The lighting devices provide a relatively constant and user selectable color and level of light output.
Abstract:
A safety device for use with a door panel hinged to another door element such as another door or to a door frame or jamb for relative swinging motion of the door panel. The device has a block sized and configured to insert into a triangular space formed between a door panel and another door element to which the door panel is hinged when the door panel is in a non-closed position, but to resist traverse through a through-gap between the door panel and the other door element to which it is hinged. A keeper is connected to the block, the keeper having a first portion thereof being sized to fit through the through-gap, and a second portion adapted to resist traverse through the through-gap when in normal operation of the door after installation of the safety device. A first portion of the keeper is resilient, thus permitting a distance between the second portion of the keeper and the block to be varied without disconnecting the block from the keeper while providing a bias force to urge the block into the triangular space when the door is in a non-closed position. The first portion of the keeper is sized to permit a distance between the block and the second portion of the keeper to be sufficient to permit the block to be completely out of the triangular space while still being connected to the second portion of the keeper.
Abstract:
A wafer connector for connecting cables to a pin header has a connector body portion that incorporates a strain relief member applied to the cables as part of the connector body portion. The strain relief member includes a cable clamp having a series of grooves that are separated by intervening land portions. The grooves receive the cables and space them in a particular spacing. The leads of the cable are terminated to corresponding tail portions of contacts of the connector. These tail portions are maintained in the same plane to enhance the electrical performance of the connector. An insulative material is molded over the tail portions and the cable clamp to form a connector with a cable clamp formed integrally with the body of the connector.
