    摘要: This attempts to improve the usability, while preventing a damage of the effect of presentation given to the audience.In response to a power-on of a main switch 110S, a composite image of a menu image including multiple command icons for device settings with a source image from a currently set image input source as a background image is displayed on an internal monitor 114 of an imaging device 100. The user can thus select desired command icons for device settings among the multiple command icons in the menu image, while visually checking the background source image. Only the source image without the menu image is displayed on an external display device, which is used for a presentation given to the audience. This arrangement desirably improves the usability of the imaging device, while preventing the display of the menu image on the external display device from damaging the effect of the presentation given to the audience.

    摘要: This attempts to reduce the total number of physical operation switches while simplifying device settings based on commands.In a command setting mode where a composite image of a menu image with a source image as a background is displayed on a monitor 114, a menu switch 112M functions to set a selected command icon. An up switch 112U and other circumferential switches surrounding the menu switch 112M function to select one of multiple command icons included in the menu image. In a mode other than the command setting mode, the circumferential switches function as physical operation switches to change over an on-off condition of a lighting unit and to select an image input source. This arrangement desirably reduces the total number of physical operation switches, while simplifying the device settings based on commands.

The invention relates to a rainwater-treating apparatus in a combined sewer system, said apparatus comprising a plurality of upward flow type high-speed filter vessels each having a layer of a floating filter medium, a common treated water vessel which is located at upper faces of said high-speed filter vessels and is adapted to collect treated water from the high-speed filter vessels, a used wash water vessel which collects used wash water from said high-speed filter vessels, a rainwater inflow channel for distributing the entering rainwater into upper portions of the high speed filter vessels, and rainwater inflow portions for flowing downwardly the rainwater distributed from the rainwater inflow channel under the respective floating filter media of the filter vessels.

    摘要: A sheet processing apparatus includes a staple tray that stacks a sheet discharged from an image forming apparatus, a rear end fence that vertically aligns the sheet stacked on the staple tray by hitting a tail end of the sheet in a conveying direction against the rear end fence, and a stapling device that executes a stapling operation at an end of a bundle of the sheets. A limiting member is movable in a direction of a thickness of the bundle of sheets stacked on the staple tray, in which a distance between the limiting member and a sheet stacking face of the staple tray guiding the sheet to the rear end fence is variable. The sheets are processed by a method including the steps of receiving a sheet discharged from the image forming apparatus, guiding the sheet to a rear end fence of a staple tray, stacking the sheet on the staple tray, aligning the sheet by hitting a tail end of the sheet against the rear end fence, pressing the tail end of the sheet in a direction of the thickness of the sheet, and stapling the bundle of sheets at the tail end of the sheet aligned by the rear end fence.

    摘要: In a turbo-refrigerator apparatus provided with a compressor in the form of a turbocompressor, a speed increasing gear system capable of switching from one speed increase ratio to another at least in two stages is located between the turbocompressor and an electric motor, so that a speed increase ratio suitable for the conditions of outdoor air can be selected to operate the apparatus with high efficiency.     摘要: An apparatus for controlling the operation of a fluid pressure raising system having a motor and a centrifugal fluid machine adapted to be driven by the motor. The apparatus has an overdrive gear disposed between the motor, which is typically an electric motor suited for the commercially available electric power, and the centrifugal fluid machine. The overdrive gear consists of two gear trains or pairs having different overdrive ratios, each consisting of a gear and a pinion meshing with the gear, and a clutch adapted to selectively switch over the gear pair taking part in the torque transmission between the output shaft of the motor and the impeller shaft of the centrifugal fluid machine, from one gear pair to the other gear pair and vice versa. Thus, the overdrive gear can transmit the power of the motor to the impeller at two different overdrive ratios. The clutch is adapted to be actuated in response to a signal representative of an external condition of the fluid pressure raising system, which signal is delivered by a detector.

    摘要: In a multistage speed change gear system including a plurality of gears selectively interconnecting an input shaft and an output shaft located parallel to one another, the gears disposed concentric with the input shaft are supported by ball-and-roller bearings supported by at least one stationary member which is an entity separate from the input shaft.
