Abstract: An AMF apparatus (3) receives a registration request message from a UE (3) via a RAN node (1). In response to receiving the registration request message, the AMF apparatus (3) sends to the UE (4) via the RAN node (1) a registration accept message indicating a registration area of the UE (4) and a first list of at least one conditionally allowed network slice identifier. The registration area is a list of at least one tracking area. Each conditionally allowed network slice identifier is not available in every part of the registration area, but is available in at least one particular cell or at least one particular tracking area included in the registration area. This can contribute, for example, to allowing a UE to easily utilize a network slice that is supported only in sparsely placed local cells.
