摘要: Solutions for improved network core handling of dual stack internet protocol (IP), such as IPv4v6, include receiving, by a first wireless network node, from a user equipment (UE), a request for a packet data session, the request identifying a dual stack IP type having a first IP type and a second IP type; based on at least the first IP type of the dual stack IP type not matching a supported IP type of a second wireless network node, receiving, by the first wireless network node, from the second wireless network node, a deregistration request for the UE; and transmitting, by the first wireless network node, to the UE, a message that triggers the UE to request a new packet data session without exiting the current radio access technology (RAT). In some examples, the first network node comprises an access mobility function (AMF) or a mobility management entity (MME).

Embodiments disclosed herein provide method for managing a Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (NSSAI) list in a wireless network by a UE. The method includes receiving at least one event. The at least one event includes: receiving a deregistration request message from a network function (NF) entity, performing a deregistration event at the UE, or successfully completing a tracking area update procedure, a successful registration procedure, or an unsuccessful registration procedure. Further, the method includes deleting: a partially rejected NSSAI list or a partially allowed NSSAI list based on the at least one received event.

A communication system includes: a communication terminal; a first network configured to perform radio communication with the communication terminal; and at least one second network configured to perform communication with the first network. When the first network determines to release connection between the first network and the communication terminal (ST1401) with the communication terminal being connected to the first network and to the at least one second network through the first network, the communication terminal or the first network instructs the at least one second network to release the connection with the communication terminal (ST1405).

摘要: A device may utilize a point-to-point protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) and a point-to-point protocol (PPP) to register the device with a core network, and may establish a first packet data unit (PDU) session with the core network based on the PPPoE and the PPP. The device may configure the first PDU session, based on the PPPoE and the PPP, to provide a first service, and may generate first keep alive messages to maintain the first PDU session. The device may establish a second PDU session with the core network based on the PPPoE and the PPP, and may configure the second PDU session based on the PPPoE and the PPP, where the second PDU session is configured to provide a second service that is different than the first service. The device may generate second keep alive messages to maintain the second PDU session.

摘要: A session management function (SMF) sends a first message for user plane activation of a wireless device to an access and mobility management function (AMF), where the first message includes an identifier of a packet data unit (PDU) session of the wireless device and a subscriber permanent identifier (SUPI). The SMF receives a second message from the AMF in response to the wireless device being unreachable and determines an extended buffering time according to the second message. The SMF also sends a third message to a user plane function (UPF), where the third message includes the extended buffering time and an indication to buffer downlink data of the wireless device.

摘要: A method includes: establishing a connection with a virtual SIM card server in a first network using a global virtual SIM card of a terminal to acquire a regional virtual SIM card from the virtual SIM card server, wherein the regional virtual SIM card is configured to allow the terminal to access a second network; determining whether the global virtual SIM card of the terminal is in conflict; updating a count of conflicts in response to determining that the global virtual SIM card of the terminal is in conflict; and upon elapse of a wait period, replacing the global virtual SIM card of the terminal with a new one to acquire the regional virtual SIM card, wherein the wait period is determined according to the count of conflicts and an identifier of the terminal.

In some aspects, the transmitter device may establish a first base context between the transmitter device and a receiver device, wherein a first context identifier is assigned to the first base context, establish a replication context between the devices, wherein the replication context is derivable from the first base context and a second context identifier is assigned to the replication context, and identify a new context. Further, the transmitter device may reassign the first context identifier to the new context, disassociate the second context identifier from the first context identifier, establish a second base context between the devices, wherein a third context identifier is assigned to the second base context, and associate, based on the replication context being derivable from the second base context, the second context identifier to the third context identifier.

Entities may be adapted to support for non-coverage related PLMN transfers, such as transfers initiated by UEs, PLMNs, servers, and core network entities, e.g., in response to changing usage, congestion, etc.

摘要: A UE capable of performing communication via a satellite receives a wait range via a first satellite from a first PLMN. In a case that the UE becomes able to perform communication via a second satellite connected to the first PLMN after becoming unable to perform communication via the first satellite, the UE selects the first PLMN, generates a wait timer based on the wait range, and starts a timer using the wait timer. In a case that an emergency call is made during the timer running, the UE stops the timer and performs a registration procedure for the emergency call. In a case that an emergency call is not made during the timer running, the UE performs the registration procedure after the timer expires.
