    摘要: An action of the preventing drying at a pen tip without using water-soluble organic solvents such as glycols, glycerin and glycol ethers which have so far been used for a water based ink for a ball point pen is allotted to at least one selected from the group consisting of a reducing sugar comprising maltitol as a principal component, a reducing sugar comprising sorbitol as a principal component, reducing dextrin, reducing maltodextrin, &agr;-cyclodextrin, &bgr;-cyclodextrin and maltosylcyclodextrin, and the actions of inhibiting feathering of the drawn lines, improving discharge stability of the ink and maintaining the lubricity are allotted to at least one selected from the group consisting of an alkylene oxide adduct of polyglycerin, an alkylene oxide adduct of glycerin and an alkylene oxide adduct of trimethylolpropane. Further, a viscosity-controlling agent is added thereto to thereby prepare a water based ink for a ball point pen which has feathering resistance, good writing feeling and high discharge stability and which is excellent in drying prevention effect at a pen tip.

    摘要: Provided is a water based ink having a metallic lustrous color for a ballpoint pen in which a metal powder pigment or aluminum powder and a complementary colorant (pigment or a colored water-insoluble polymer fine particles) are used as a colorant and further in addition to a thickener, a polar solvent and water, particularly a resin emulsion is used in combination to reduce the use amount of the thickener to thereby lower the viscosity. The ink is improved in follow-up property to be able to write continuously, develops a metallic color of a rainbow color on writing paper having a dark color and provides lines having water resistance and weatherability. The ink does not allow the metal powder and the pigment to settle and separate though the viscosity is low.

    摘要: A structure for positioning a plurality of noncircular lenses relative to a lens holding frame which holds the noncircular lenses precisely. The structure includes a first lens frame which holds a first noncircular lens, and a second lens frame which holds a second noncircular lens. A first coupling part of the first lens frame has a first connecting surface which is perpendicular to a centering axis of the first noncircular lens, and a second coupling part of the second lens frame has a second connecting surface, contacting with the first connecting surface, which is perpendicular to the centering axis of the first noncircular lens. When the first coupling part is connected to the second coupling part, they are prevented from rotating relative to each other around the centering axis which is perpendicular to both the first and second connecting surfaces, by a mechanism which prevents a mutual rotation between the first coupling part and the second coupling part of the lens frame.
