摘要： Provided is a water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen characterized by comprising at least colored resin particles which have an average particle diameter of 2 to 20 μm and which are non-thermoplastic in a proportion of 5 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition and non-colored particles having a glass transition point of 60° C. or higher. The average particle diameter of the non-colored particles described above is controlled preferably to 0.01 to 10 μm. The water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen described above further comprises preferably at least one selected from ethylene oxide or propylene oxide adducts of glycerin and ethylene oxide or propylene oxide adducts of diglycerin in a proportion of 1 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition. The above water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen is further stable with the passage of time and excellent in a writing performance, erasability by an eraser and abrasion resistance.

The ink composition is excellent in a writing property as well as a coloring property of the drawn lines regardless of the kind of writing paper and is stable with the passage of time. In addition thereto, it provides the drawn lines with a color having the same color tone as that of the visual color when it is charged into an ink reservoir.

摘要： Provided is a water based white color tone pigment ink for a ballpoint pen comprising titanium oxide, a complementary colorant comprising a pigment or a pseudo pigment obtained by dyeing resin particles with a dye, a resin emulsion, a thickener, water, a polar solvent and other additives, wherein the pigment has an average particle diameter of 100 nm or more; the pseudo pigment has an average particle diameter of 200 nm or more; the resin contained in the resin emulsion has an average particle diameter of 200 nm or more; and the ink has a viscosity of 500 mPa·s to 5000 mPa·s. Vivid drawn lines having a poster color tone can be obtained well even on writing paper having a dark hue. The ink is stable even in long term storage and excellent in a follow-up property and can write continuously.

Further, a viscosity-controlling agent is added thereto to thereby prepare a water based ink for a ball point pen which has feathering resistance, good writing feeling and high discharge stability and which is excellent in drying prevention effect at a pen tip.

摘要： Provided is a water based ink having a metallic lustrous color for a ballpoint pen in which a metal powder pigment or aluminum powder and a complementary colorant (pigment or a colored water-insoluble polymer fine particles) are used as a colorant and further in addition to a thickener, a polar solvent and water, particularly a resin emulsion is used in combination to reduce the use amount of the thickener to thereby lower the viscosity. The ink is improved in follow-up property to be able to write continuously, develops a metallic color of a rainbow color on writing paper having a dark color and provides lines having water resistance and weatherability. The ink does not allow the metal powder and the pigment to settle and separate though the viscosity is low.
