    摘要: An image forming apparatus comprising a main body having a copy function of printing an image read from a document on a paper sheet, a printer function of printing an externally input image on a paper sheet, and a paper ejection port to eject a printed paper sheet. The apparatus also includes a paper ejection unit which has a first tray and a second tray for receiving a paper sheet ejected form the paper ejection port, and moves the trays selectively to the positions corresponding to the paper ejection port. The apparatus also includes a control panel for setting an operating condition of the apparatus, and a state key provided on the control panel and configured to operate when holding the trays at current positions.

    摘要: According to a paper conveying apparatus and a copying machine of the present invention, when a paper is supplied from a back cassette provided at a position where at least one cassette is provided between a photoconductive drum and the cassette, and a first paper supplied to the photoconductive drum is conveyed to an aligning roller of the copying machine, a second paper sequentially after the first paper arrived at the aligning roller is drawn from the back cassette in advance. Due to this, paper conveying time necessary for conveying the paper is reduced when a continuous copying is performed. If a back edge of the first paper is left on an intermediate aligning roller, that is, the whole length of paper drawn from the back cassette is longer, the second paper is stopped at the position where the second paper is drawn from the back cassette. Therefore, the first paper and second paper can be prevented from being collided with each other, and being overlapped on each other.

    摘要: A magnetic recording and/or reproducing apparatus, comprising a rotary head device, in which a magnetic tape is drawn out of a cassette and brought into contact with the rotary head device. A tape draw-out device, doubling as a tape guide, forms a predetermined tape path and guides the drive of the magnetic tape after drawing out the magnetic tape. A fixed magnetic head and other tape guide mechanism are movably arranged on the path of the tape draw-out device during operation of the apparatus for reducing the size thereof. With the tape loading operation, the fixed magnetic head and the other tape guide are moved by a common drive mechanism and held in position by a common stopper.

The disc, supported by those disc guides, is chucked by a clamper.

    摘要: In order to improve internal cooling performance and efficiency by means of introducing outside air of an optical disc drive without using a fan, an optical disc drive of the invention includes a tray movable for the sake of mounting and dismounting a disc, a disc rotation mechanism arranged at the center to rotate the disc, and a pickup arranged on a backside of the center to write and read the disc within a housing. The tray has an opening at its center and partitions the housing in a vertical direction. The optical disc drive is arranged with a first opening for inhaling outside air in a height range between the bottom surface of the tray and the proximity to the bottom end of the pickup on a back surface or a side surface around a corner on a right side viewed from the backside of the housing, and a second opening for exhausting internal air, arranged higher than a top surface of the tray on the back surface or a side surface around a corner on a left side viewed from the backside.

    摘要: An accumulation unit accumulates, in a 1-line element corresponding to the main scanning direction, an electrical signal prepared by photoelectrically converting optical image information obtained by scanning an original image to be formed with a carriage in the subscanning direction. A magnification setting unit sets the copy magnification. A speed change unit changes the moving speed of the carriage in accordance with the copy magnification, and when the set copy magnification is equal to or smaller than a certain magnification in reduction, changes the carriage moving speed to 1/n (n: a natural number larger than 1) from the relationship between the current magnification and the carriage moving speed. A preprocessing unit converts the electrical signal into a digital signal, has a line memory for storing 1-line input image data in the main scanning direction, performs arithmetic processing for multilevel n-line data in the main scanning direction to change the subscanning magnification in reduction, and outputs 1-line output image data in the main scanning direction. An image data processing unit performs predetermined image data processing including processing of receiving for each pixel the 1-line output image data in the main scanning direction output from the preprocessing unit, and converting the image data into binary data.
