    摘要: Provided is a touch-panel device capable of detecting a touched position with high accuracy even when a touched area extends off an electrode area. According to the present invention, the touched area is assumed to be, for example, a circular in shape. A width in an X direction (overlap width (X46)) and a width in a Y direction (overlap width (Y47)) of an area where the touched area in a circular shape and an electrode area (6) overlap each other may be determined based on sensor measured values. When the overlap width (X46) and the overlap width (Y47) are different from each other, it is judged that the touched area extends off the electrode area, and a position of a center of the touched area in the circular shape is calculated as the touched position.

    摘要: In a touched position detection method for a touch panel for detecting a touched position, based on measured values by a plurality of sensors, presence of a touch is determined when a measured value by a sensor exceeds a touch threshold. As a touch threshold, a value which cannot be attained due to a mere noise but can due to presence of a touch is set. With respect to sensors located in the vicinity of a sensor showing a high measured value, a higher weighted value is applied to modify a measured value in a touched position calculation process than that to be applied to other sensors.

    摘要: A capacitive touch panel includes a scanning circuit portion for inputting a drive voltage to each scanning electrode sequentially in 1st to n-th sub detection periods, a capacitance detection circuit portion for detecting a capacitance detection signal of the each detecting electrode in the 1st to n-th groups, and a control circuit portion for calculating a capacitance detection signal change amount from the capacitance detection signals of a plurality of the detecting electrodes detected by the capacitance detection circuit portion, and calculating coordinates of a touch position based on the capacitance detection signal change amounts.
