Abstract: A multi-fiber reel and adapter assembly includes a base, a cable reel mounted to the base, and a plurality of adapters fixedly mounted to the base. The cable reel is configured to rotate relative to the base and the adapters, and each of the adapters is configured to couple a fiber optic cable from the cable reel with a fiber optic drop cable that is configured to run from the respective adapter to a location of an end user that is remote from the assembly.

Abstract: A coaxial cable connector includes a nut having a seal-grasping surface portion and a seal having an elastically deformable tubular body attached to the nut. The body has a posterior end with a sealing surface that cooperatively engages the seal-grasping surface portion of the nut and an anterior end with a forward sealing surface configured to cooperatively engage an interface port. The nut defines a first through hole extending in the longitudinal direction and configured to receive a center conductor of a coaxial cable. The anterior end of the seal defines a second through hole extending in the longitudinal direction and configured to receive a center conductor of a coaxial cable. A center axis of the first through hole and a center axis of the second through hole are offset from one another such that the anterior end the seal is configured to urge at least the center conductor of the coaxial cable to an off-center position of the second through hole when the nut is coupled with the interface port thereby creating radial interference between the nut and the interface port. The nut is urged to make contact with the interface port whenever mounted thereon, thus maintaining electrical grounding between the nut and the port, even when the nut is loosely coupled with the interface port.

Abstract: A coaxial cable connector includes a nut having a seal-grasping surface portion and a seal having an elastically deformable tubular body attached to the nut. Abstract: An electrical continuity apparatus for a coaxial cable interface port including an interface port, a cable connector, and a resilient member. The interface port includes a first end having a threaded outer surface, and the cable connector includes a coupler having a threaded inner surface. The coupler is configured to rotatably couple the threaded inner surface with the threaded outer surface of the first end of the interface port. The resilient member is arranged between the interface port and the cable connector and urges threads of the threaded inner surface of the coupler into engagement with threads of the threaded outer surface of the interface port to provide electrical continuity between the coupler and the threaded outer surface of interface port even when coupler is loosely tightened to the interface port.

Abstract: A connector includes a body having a central bore and a first grounding contact surface, a post disposed within the central bore and having an outwardly projecting flange configured to produce a first portion of a mating interface, and a conductive coupler. The post portion has a tubular sleeve configured to mechanically and electrically engage a prepared end of a coaxial cable. The first and second portions are configured to slide along the mating interface to rotate about an elongate axis of the connector. The connector includes a conductive ring disposed between the first and second grounding contact surfaces and configured to produce an electrical path between the body and the conductive coupler.

Abstract: A coaxial cable connector includes a nut housing having a rearward cable receiving end and a forward end opposite said rearward end, a front nut assembly coupled to the forward end of the nut housing, and a conductive metal tubular insert shaft supported within the nut housing or the front nut assembly. The front nut assembly includes an entry body housing and a conductive terminal pin extending from a forward end of the front nut assembly, and the conductive metal tubular insert shaft has a rearward end portion. A nonconductive plastic tubular support sleeve has a forward end portion coupled with the rearward end portion of the conductive metal tubular insert shaft, a tubular gripping ferrule radially surrounds the metal insert shaft and the plastic support sleeve, and a tubular outer sleeve radially surrounds at least a portion of said gripping ferrule. The gripping ferrule and the tubular outer sleeve are configured to be moved relative to one another in an axial direction such that the gripping ferrule and the tubular outer sleeve are configured to engage one another, thereby causing the gripping ferrule to radially compress around the conductive metal tubular insert shaft and the nonconductive plastic tubular support sleeve.

Abstract: A reel holder includes a first reel holder member including a first frame member and a first ring member a second reel holder member including a second frame member and a second ring member.
