    摘要: A panel assembly includes a panel having an opening therethrough that selectively receives either a first cassette or a second cassette, where the first and second cassettes have front and rear mating interfaces that mate with cable connectors. The first cassette has at least one of the front and rear mating interfaces being different than the front and rear mating interfaces of the second cassette, respectively. A connectivity sensor is mounted to either the first cassette or the second cassette depending on which of the first cassette and the second cassette is received in the opening of the panel. The connectivity sensor senses a connectivity status of the front mating interface of the corresponding first cassette or second cassette and generates a connectivity status signals relating to the connectivity status. An input/output connector is held by the panel. The input/output connector is electrically connected to the connectivity sensor and is configured to be electrically connected to an input/output cable of a connectivity management system that monitors the connectivity status signals of the connectivity sensor.

    摘要: A contact sub-assembly is provided for an electrical connector. The contact sub-assembly includes a base and an array of contacts held by the base. Each contact extends along a length from a terminating end portion to a tip end portion. The tip end portion includes a tip surface. Each contact has a mating interface located along the length of the contact between the terminating end portion and the tip end portion. The contact sub-assembly also includes a spacing member formed separately from the base. The spacing member engages each of the contacts such that each contact is positioned relative to each adjacent contact in the array. At least a portion of the spacing member engaging each contact at a location along the length of the contact that is between the mating interface and the tip surface.

The outlet comprises a base which is dimensioned to extend across the cutout and a plurality of latch arms attached to the base. At least one of the latch arms in a relatively large size array is selectively detachable from the base, wherein a largest remaining array corresponds to the known size of the cutout. In one embodiment, the base includes a plate which is confrontable with the wall panel, and the latch arms extend forwardly from the plate and then rearwardly through respective apertures in the plate and continue rearwardly through the cutout in the panel, and each of the latch arms has a projection with an inclined trailing face that is engageable with the wall panel.
