    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to multi-hop sidelink are provided. In one aspect, a first user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), a configured grant (CG) indicating a first CG occasion. The first CG occasion includes a first transmit resource and a first receive window. The first UE receives, from a second UE in the first receive window, a first communication signal including a first data block. The first UE transmits, to a third UE in the first transmit resource, a second communication signal including the first data block.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a device, a request to transmit a sidelink message to a second UE. The first UE may receive, from the device and in response to the transmitted request, an indication of one or more configured sidelink resources allocated to the first UE. The configured sidelink resources may be allocated to the first UE from a pool of sidelink resources configured for a sensing-based channel access procedure. The UE may transmit the sidelink message to the second UE on at least one of the configured sidelink resources associated with the received indication.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support improved assignment techniques for dynamic group common physical control channels. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may receive a control message via a group common control channel. The control message may be monitored by a plurality of UEs, and the control message may include one or more control information segments for a set of UEs of the plurality. The control message may include one or more integer values associated with respective control information segments and a prime number. The integer values and the prime number may be configured to address each UE of the set of UEs. The UE may process the prime number, the integer values, and an integer value that corresponds to an identifier (ID) of the UE to determine applicability of the control message to the UE.

    Abstract: Some wireless communications systems may support different types of communications between base stations and user equipment (UEs), such as mobile broadband (MBB) communications and low latency communications. Low latency communications may be associated with bursty and unpredictable transmissions. As described herein, to facilitate low latency communications and limit the latency associated with waiting on appropriate resources for transmitting low latency data, a base station may schedule downlink low latency transmissions on uplink resources or uplink low latency transmissions on downlink resources. Further, to limit the latency associated with scheduling low latency communications, a base station may be configured with a carrier for transmitting preemption indications (PIs) to one or more UEs to reassign resources for low latency communications. Similarly, in some cases, a UE may be configured with a carrier to transmit scheduling requests (SRs) to request resources for low latency communications.

A wireless communication device, performs a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure to contend for a maximum channel occupancy time (MCOT) in a first shared radio frequency band, the performing the LBT including performing, in the first shared radio frequency band, first channel sensing during a first portion of an LBT period based on a first energy detection threshold; and performing, in the first shared radio frequency band based on the first channel sensing, second channel sensing during a second portion of the LBT period based on a second energy detection threshold different from the first energy detection threshold; and communicating, in the first shared radio frequency band, a communication signal during the MCOT based on the LBT procedure.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a discovery reference signal from a base station on an anchor channel. The UE may perform a first random or pseudorandom frequency hopping procedure to identify a plurality of downlink carriers for a first time period. The UE may perform a second random or pseudorandom frequency hopping procedure within the plurality of downlink carriers to select one of the plurality of downlink carriers as the uplink channel for a second time period. The UE may then transmit an uplink communication during the second time period on the selected uplink channel. In some examples, the uplink communication may be transmitted based at least in part on time division multiplexing (TDM) information.
