Abstract:
Light sources of different colors, such as additive or subtractive primaries, are provided within a camera body to expose the film to the colored light as an auxiliary exposure. The auxiliary exposure is imparted to the film simultaneously with, before or after the normal exposure at the time of photographing. The light sources can be, for example, LED's which emit different colors, or a combination of a white light source and color filters of different colors provided in front of the light source.
Abstract:
In a digital exposure control device for cameras including an A-D converter connected with a light measuring circuit and a memory element connected therewith for memorizing the output of the A-D converter, a one-shot is connected between the A-D converter and the memory element so that the output of the A-D converter will be transmitted to the memory element only while the output level of the one-shot is high.
Abstract:
A single lens reflex camera having an interchangeable lens and provided with an exposure control device of the aperture size priority type is provided with a flash light control device in which the amount of light emitted by a flash light tube is controlled by a control circuit according to the film sensitivity of the film in the camera and the selected diaphragm aperture size. The selected diaphragm aperture size is input into the control circuit in terms of first information representing the displacement of the selected diaphragm aperture size from the full aperture size of the lens and second information representing the full aperture size of the lens.
Abstract:
A single lens reflex camera provided with a swing-up mirror which is held in the retracted position while pictures are successively taken. A delay circuit is connected between a shutter release signal generator and a leading shutter blind driving circuit for delaying the transmission of the shutter release signal to the leading shutter blind driving circuit when pictures are normally taken. The delay circuit has a switch which selectively makes the delay circuit functions to delay the signal transmission or nullifies the delay circuit to transmit the signal without delay. The switch is connected with the swing-up mirror to nullify the delay circuit when the swing-up mirror is held in the retracted position to conduct the successive photographing.
Abstract:
A single lens reflex camera with an automatic exposure control circuit includes a photodetector and a light emitting indicator in the viewfinder optical system. The light emitting indicator is energized to emit light with high luminance for a predetermined period when the electric power source is turned on in the camera. By the high luminance light emission of the light emitting indicator, the photodetector in the exposure control circuit is preliminarily exposed to light before it starts to measure scene brightness. Thus, the response of the photodetector is enhanced.
Abstract:
In an automatic film wind up device including a drive disc driven by an electric motor and a driven disc connected to a film wind up shaft and rotated by the drive disc, the drive and driven discs are provided with a position detecting elements which detects a predetermined relative position of one disc to the other. The position detecting elements are electric non-contact type switch elements comprised of two elements one of which is mounted on the drive disc and the other of which is mounted on the driven disc. Only when the two elements are in alignment with each other, the motor is driven. The drive and driven discs are coupled together by means of a clutch or a click stop device and are disengaged from each other when the driven disc is forced to stop. Upon the stoppage of the driven disc, the detecting elements detects the disengagement of the discs and act to stop the motor.
Abstract:
In a photographic camera provided with an exposure control circuit employing an analogue type arithmetic unit, film speed, aperture size and scene brightness are put into the circuit in the analogue form. In order to compensate for the errors caused by the manufacturing error, a single adjusting element is incorporated into the circuit. The single adjusting element is composed of an additional information input device which is able to input an additional factor into the arithmetic unit independently of the other exposure factors such as the film speed, aperture size and the scene brightness.
Abstract:
In an exposure control circuit for a camera including a digital control circuit, a crystal oscillator is used as a pulse generator. Between the crystal oscillator and the power source is connected a small current supply circuit for constantly supplying a small current to the crystal oscillator for constantly maintaining the oscillator in a stable condition.
Abstract:
A resistor having a high resistance and a resistor having a low resistance are arranged in parallel to each other in side by side relation. A pair of input terminals are fixed to both ends of the resistor of low resistance. A movable contact is provided in slidable contact with the resistor of high resistance moving along the edge of the resistor of low resistance which is in contact with an edge of the resistor of high resistance.
Abstract:
The warning device for a camera has an operation circuit for determining proper exposure condition of the shutter time according to the informations of the brightness of the object, the diaphragm aperture of the objective and the film sensitivity, a manually operable circuit for manually setting the condition of the shutter time and an optical indicating circuit operated by the manually operable circuit for digitally indicating the condition of the shutter time set by the manually operable circuit. The warning device is provided with a comparison circuit with its one input connected to the output of said operation circuit and with its other input connected to the manually operable circuit, and an oscillator with its input connected to the output of the comparison circuit and with its output connected to the optical indicating circuit so as to cause winking of the optical indication of the optical indicating circuit, the duty ratio of pulses of the oscillator being varied depending upon the output of the comparison circuit so as to render the duty ratio to be increased to 1 as the output of the manually operable circuit reaches that of the operation circuit so that the degree of non-coincidence of the outputs of the operation circuit and the manually operable circuit is easily found out while continuous optical indication of the proper exposure condition of the camera is achieved.
