摘要: A first movable barrel is rotated and moved along an optical path by driving force of a motor. A second movable barrel is attached to the interior of the first movable barrel. The second movable barrel does not rotate, but goes straight along the optical path together with the first movable barrel. Inside the second movable barrel, is rotatably attached a lens turret in which a plurality of lenses are concentrically arranged. The lens turret is intermittently rotated in accordance with a rotation of the first movable barrel to set one of the lenses at the optical path. Each lens is set to the optical path at a position where back focus is taken into consideration, so that a focal length of a taking lens is changed. When the lens turret goes straight together with the second movable barrel without rotating, focusing is performed at the set focal length. A magnification of a viewfinder optical system is changed in association with a rotation of the lens turret.

摘要: A television signal receiving tuner comprises: an integrated circuit including a mixer and an intermediate frequency circuit which frequency convert at least a received television signal RF to an intermediate frequency signal IF; a first intermediate frequency amplifying circuit which is separate from the integrated circuit and has an amplification degree; and an SAW filter which is separate from the integrated circuit and attenuates adjacent bands out of the intermediate frequency band BW of the television signal by a predetermined attenuation amount. The integrated circuit has at least a first terminal and a second terminal and outputs the intermediate frequency signal IF obtained by the frequency conversion by the mixer from the first terminal, and the intermediate frequency signal is serially passed through the intermediate frequency amplifying circuit and the SAW filter and supplied from the second terminal to the intermediate frequency circuit.

摘要: A local area network (LAN) connection method runs an existing LAN application in an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) network to connect LANS. The LAN connection method includes the steps of (a) in a LAN emulation (LANE) protocol which operates an existing network in the ATM network, connecting LAN emulation servers (LESs) which mainly cope with addresses from medial access control (MAC) addresses to ATM addresses in emulated LANs (ELANs) by a virtual channel connection (VCC) for transferring a LAN emulation address resolution protocol (LE ARP) which inquires the ATM address from the MAC address, and (b) transferring a LE ARP request with respect to a LAN emulation client (LEC) in a second ELAN to a LES in the second ELAN when a LES in a first ELAN receives the LE ARP request from a LEC in the first ELAN.
