摘要： Disclosed is a method for transmitting a reference signal for identification of each cell in a communication system including a plurality of cells each of which is identified by a cell identifier. The method includes receiving a cell identifier, and generating a block code corresponding to the cell identifier using a predetermined block code generator matrix, and generating a first part sequence using the block code; selecting a second part sequence in accordance with the cell identifier; generating a reference signal of a frequency domain using the first part sequence and the second part sequence; converting the reference signal of the frequency domain to a reference signal of a time domain through an Inverse Fast Fourier Transform operation and transmitting the reference signal of the time domain in a predetermined reference signal transmission interval.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for transmitting a pilot symbol from base stations (BSs) to a subscriber station (SS) in a communication system which includes the base stations located adjacent to each other, the method includes the steps of transmitting BS-identifying sub-carriers which represent sequences for identifying the base stations in a frequency domain of the pilot symbol; and transmitting PAPR (Peak to Average Power Ratio) sub-carriers which represent sequences for reducing a PAPR of the pilot symbol together with the transmission of the BS-identifying sub-carriers in the frequency domain.

摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving a signal in a communication system, in which an MCS level or a modulation scheme to be used to an information vector to be transmitted is determined when the information vector is generated, and a codeword vector is generated by encoding the information vector in an encoding scheme corresponding to the determined MCS level or modulation scheme. Thus, a signal can be transmitted in such a manner as to have optimal performance for each MCS level or modulation scheme.
