Abstract: An apparatus for use in a digital messaging system includes a storage device and a processor coupled to the storage device. The storage device storing software instructions for controlling the processor that when executed by the processor configured the processor to: generate a master private and public key pair; associate the master private and public key pair with a first certificate; and derive at least one domain-specific key from the one of the master private and public key pair. The first certificate is registered to a group comprising a plurality of domains. The domain-specific key is associated with one of the plurality of domains.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems and computer implemented methods for performing a connected device-based property evaluation. In one example, system operations include identifying a construction schedule associated with a particular property, the construction schedule including at least one construction event for the property. A disbursement schedule associated with the construction schedule and the property are identified, wherein the disbursement schedule defines construction events that trigger at least a partial disbursement of funds associated with the construction. Connected devices associated with the property are associated to one or more of the construction events, and a set of data characteristics associated with the one or more connected devices are defined that correspond to particular construction events. Outputs from the connected devices are then monitored during construction, and, in response to a determination that the monitored outputs match the defined data characteristics corresponding to particular construction events, a corresponding fund disbursement is initiated.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include computer-implemented systems and processes that perform operations consistent with services provisioned to a device based on real-time sensor data indicative of and characterizing a user's operation of the device and additionally or alternatively, a system or apparatus that includes the device. For example, the device may obtain stored data identifying a provisioned service, and may obtain sensor data captured by an on-board or external sensor during an operation of the device. Based on the sensor data, the device may generate a usage parameter that characterizes the operation of the device during a temporal period, and perform an operation consistent with the provisioned service in accordance with the generated usage parameter.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include computerized methods and systems that automatically verify an identity of a user based on social media messaging. In an embodiment, an apparatus identifies a first social media message associated with a social networking account of a user and generated by a device of the user. The apparatus may generate may extract authentication data from the first social media message, and may verify an identity of the user based on a correspondence between the extracted authentication data and at least a portion of stored user profile. In response to the verification, the apparatus may generate one or more electronic commands to initiate an action involving one or more securities.

Abstract: An apparatus maintains a segregated database in a multiple distributed ledger system. The apparatus includes a storage device that stores software instructions for controlling a processor that when executed by the processor configure the processor to: create distributed ledgers, each created distributed ledger being associated with a respective individual profile; maintain a segregated database apart from the distributed ledgers including, for each individual profile, profile balance data; and process a data exchange between exchanging profiles. To process the data exchange, the processor is configured to receive data exchange data regarding parameters of the data exchange; approve the data exchange based on a check of the data exchange data against profile balance data in the database; access the distributed ledgers associated with the exchanging profiles; and cause a distributed ledger data exchange corresponding to the data exchange to be added to the accessed distributed ledgers when the data exchange is approved.

Abstract: Methods and devices for controlling display of a user interface. A computing device configured to enable data exchanges in connection with accounts, including a credit account, determines whether a requested data exchange with the credit account will result in the credit account exceeding a utilization threshold. If not, a standard interface for completing the data exchange is displayed. If the data exchange will result in exceeding the threshold, then a modified interface is displayed. The modified interface enables completion of the data exchange within a minimum time period longer than the minimum time period within which the data exchange may be completed through the standard interface. Example modifications include adding an input element or field, adding delay to display or rendering of graphics, adding pop-ups, or removing pre-populated selections or values, among others.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include computerized methods and systems that automatically provision one or more services available to an Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices upon connection to and registration onto communications network. In one aspect, a device may receive, from a computing system, data specifying one or more first services provisioned to the device. The device may identify a subset of the first services that are consistent with a device type of an additional device, and may transmit a portion of the stored first data that specifies the subset of the first services to that additional device. The additional device may process the transmitted portion to provision the subset of the first services to the additional device prior to a successful authentication.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include computerized methods and systems that provide mobile application programs to devices of users and that administer these mobile application programs using tokens “pre-loaded” with data. In one aspect, the disclosed embodiments may generate a mobile payment product, such as a mobile wallet, that is “pre-loaded” with eligible financial products. For example, the disclosed embodiments may receive a request from a user device to obtain an application program that administers the mobile wallet, and in response to the received request, may obtain information identifying one or more financial products eligible for inclusion in the mobile wallet. The disclosed embodiments may generate a mobile wallet token based on the eligible financial product information and store the mobile wallet token in cloud-based storage. The user device may, upon authenticating the user, obtain the mobile wallet token and provision the mobile wallet with the eligible financial products.

Abstract: A device and method for management of an account. An event placement timeline is displayed. Account events are shown along the timeline. A preferred event time range or “safe zone” is shown along the timeline. The “safe zone” is the portion of the month during which it is safe to schedule certain events, like bill payments, with lower risk of NSF, overdraft or the like. The user moves a movable object into the “safe zone” to reschedule the account event in the “safe zone”, and the settings of the account are modified to automatically execute the account event at that time.

Abstract: A computing device and method for managing an account. A computer displays a historical timeline and an event placement timeline. Past events are shown along the historical timeline, and future events along the event placement timeline. The computer suggest a change to the timing of one of the events. The user moves a movable object to the proposed timing to reschedule the event. The settings of the account are modified to automatically execute that event at the new timing.
