摘要： The liquid ejection head comprises: a plurality of nozzles which eject droplets of liquid; a plurality of pressure chambers which are respectively connected to the nozzles; a common flow passage which supplies the liquid to the pressure chambers; a plurality of ejection devices which respectively cause the liquid in the pressure chambers to be ejected from the nozzles; a temperature differential generating device which generates a temperature differential between the common flow passage and each of the pressure chambers; a common flow passage temperature determining device which determines temperature of the common flow passage; a pressure chamber temperature determining device which determines temperature of each of the pressure chambers; and a control device which controls the temperature differential generating device in accordance with the temperature of the common flow passage and the temperature of each of the pressure chambers, in such a manner that the temperature differential between the common flow passage and each of the pressure chambers reaches a prescribed temperature differential.

摘要： The image recording apparatus for recording images to a recording medium comprises a recording head arrangement device for arranging the line recording head so that at least the lengthwise direction of the line recording head is in an orthogonal position substantially orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the recording medium, or the lengthwise direction of the line recording head is in a parallel position substantially parallel to the conveyance direction of the recording medium; and a shuttle scan mechanism for causing the line recording head to shuttle-scan in the direction substantially orthogonal to the conveyance direction while the parallel position is maintained, wherein the line recording head records images as a line head when arranged in the orthogonal position, and records images by shuttle scanning when arranged in the parallel position.

摘要： The transporting device includes a linear guide member disposed at a position facing to inkjet line heads and a drying device, moving a pallet on which a sheet is attracted by magnetic force, and a belt driving device supporting both sides of the pallet by an endless belt and driving the pallet by circumferential movement of the belt. An ink is ejected from the inkjet line heads to the sheet on the pallet transported by the linear guide member, and a recording surface of the sheet is dried by the drying device. Subsequently, the pallet from which the sheet is separated is moved back to an upstream side of the inkjet line heads passing through a lower side of the linear guide member in the vertical direction by circumferential movement of the belt.
