Virtual user equipment (UE) are connected to the two or more base stations. Data flows for the device are identified. The identified data flows are assigned to the virtual UEs based on the identified network characteristics.

Abstract: An RF antenna system includes a first unit that further includes first attachment means that secures the first unit to a window, and an antenna. The first unit additionally includes an RF transceiver, coupled to the antenna, that receives, via the antenna, incoming RF signals and converts the RF signals to first electrical signals; and first optical means that transmits the first electrical signals as first optical signals through the first surface of the window. The RF antenna system also includes a second unit that includes second attachment means that secures the second unit to the window. The second unit also includes second optical means that receive the first optical signals through the second surface of the window, convert the first optical signals to first digital signals, and transmit the first digital signals to a device connected to the second unit.

Abstract: A wireless signal at a low frequency is received at a face of a meta-material antenna. An offset carrier, at a high frequency, is received at an opposite direction face of the metal-material antenna. Passive mixers upshift the low frequency wireless signal to a high frequency, at the difference between the low frequency and the offset carrier. The upshifted version of the received low frequency signal is radiated from a second face of the meta-material antenna.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for providing broadband network access to mobile devices during air travel. The system transmits a first signal from a phased array antenna towards an airspace. The system also steers the phased array antenna towards an aircraft within the airspace based on a determined movement of the aircraft, a device signal generated by a mobile device aboard the aircraft, or a combination thereof. The system also determines a frequency shift associated with a return of the first signal from the aircraft. Still further, the system determines a second signal of a different frequency based on the frequency shift.

Abstract: A device may receive a wireless communication that is provided to a wireless network by a user equipment. The device may identify a value of a parameter of the wireless communication. The device may obtain an expected value of the parameter. The device may compare the value and the expected value. The device may determine, based on comparing the value and the expected value, that the wireless communication was relayed by a wireless communication repeater. The device may determine that the wireless communication repeater is unauthorized to relay the wireless communication. The device may perform an action associated with the wireless communication repeater relaying the wireless communication and based on the wireless communication repeater being unauthorized to relay the wireless communication.
