    Abstract: An RF antenna system includes a first unit that further includes first attachment means that secures the first unit to a window, and an antenna. The first unit additionally includes an RF transceiver, coupled to the antenna, that receives, via the antenna, incoming RF signals and converts the RF signals to first electrical signals; and first optical means that transmits the first electrical signals as first optical signals through the first surface of the window. The RF antenna system also includes a second unit that includes second attachment means that secures the second unit to the window. The second unit also includes second optical means that receive the first optical signals through the second surface of the window, convert the first optical signals to first digital signals, and transmit the first digital signals to a device connected to the second unit.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for communication between a network base station and a remote device are disclosed. Disclosed methods include providing, at a base station coupled to the network, a modulated signal to mixers in a retro-directive metamaterial antenna, and receiving an RF transmission beam from the remote device, at the retro-directive metamaterial antenna, and radiating from the antenna a modulated retro-directed beam, using mixer products, directed toward the remote device.

    Abstract: A device may receive a wireless communication that is provided to a wireless network by a user equipment. The device may identify a value of a parameter of the wireless communication. The device may obtain an expected value of the parameter. The device may compare the value and the expected value. The device may determine, based on comparing the value and the expected value, that the wireless communication was relayed by a wireless communication repeater. The device may determine that the wireless communication repeater is unauthorized to relay the wireless communication. The device may perform an action associated with the wireless communication repeater relaying the wireless communication and based on the wireless communication repeater being unauthorized to relay the wireless communication.
