    摘要: Techniques for reporting channel quality information (CQI) in a multi-carrier wireless communication system are disclosed. In one aspect, a user equipment determines one or more reporting groups, each comprising a plurality of component carriers which are configured for the user equipment. The user equipment may detect a trigger from a base station that selects a reporting group and may respond to the trigger by sending CQI for at least the activated component carriers in the selected reporting group.
