    Abstract: An exercise machine applicable for strengthening a user's abdominal muscles is described. The exercise machine can include a base frame, a seat assembly and a backrest assembly rotatably coupled with the base frame. The base frame can include side members and a crossbar member to provide floor support. The backrest assembly may be configured to swivel with rotational movements around at least one axis of rotation. The backrest assembly may include at least one swivel structure and two handle bars. Each swivel structure may be rotatable around a separate axis of rotation. The handle bars may be mounted substantially transverse to a particular axis of rotation. The seat assembly can include a seat pad affixed to the crossbar member to allow a user sitting on the seat pad to cause the swiveling of the backrest assembly via hand pushes on the handle bars.

The base frame can have longitudinally a head section and a rear section pivotally coupled with the head section. The pole frame can have one or more extendable poles extending longitudinally between a far end and a near end of the pole frame. A cross bar can be detachably affixed between the extendable poles. The pole frame may be pivotally attached to the base frame. The swivel frame can have one or more side bars having longitudinally a handle end and a pole end. A handle bar may be detachably fixed between the side bars at the handle end. The swivel frame may be rotably attached to the extendable poles to allow rotary movements of the swivel frame in between the extendable poles.

The track frame can include a pair of parallel rails to provide gliding support for movement along the parallel rails. Two sliding assembly may be movably mounted on the parallel rails respectively. Each sliding assembly may be configurable to move together or separately along the parallel rails. Two seat pads may be adjustably secured to the two sliding assembly respectively. Each seat pad may be rotationally adjustable to change angular relationship between the seat pad's longitudinal direction and movement direction along the parallel rails.
