    摘要: A pixel circuit relating to an organic light emitting diode (OLED) is provided by the invention, and if the circuit configuration (5T1C or 6T1C) thereof collaborates with suitable operation waveforms, the current flowing through an OLED in the OLED pixel circuit is not be changed along with variation of a power supply voltage (Vdd) influenced by the IR drop, and is not be varied along with the threshold voltage (Vth) shift of a TFT used for driving the OLED. Accordingly, the brightness uniformity of the applied OLED display can be substantially improved.

The electroluminescent unit is controlled by the driving transistor to illuminate in a drive period. The pre-write unit is enabled in a pre-write period recording a threshold voltage of the driving transistor and the electroluminescent unit in second storage element. The threshold voltage and the data voltage, stored in the first and the second storage units, are supplied as a gate-source voltage of the driving transistor, so as to provide a compensated drive voltage, capable of compensating the variation of the threshold voltages of the driving transistor and the electroluminescent unit, driving the electroluminescent unit.

Each active device is connected to one scan line and one data line intersected therewith. Each pixel electrode crosses over one data line and one active device and is electrically connected to the corresponding one active device. The common electrode layer is disposed on the second substrate. The spacers disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate are located above the scan lines. The spacers are respectively located at centers of the pixel electrodes.

The pixel circuit structure includes a first and a second circuit. The first circuit includes a first switch and a first capacitor. The second circuit includes a second switch, a third switch and a second capacitor. One end of the first capacitor receives the common voltage. Two ends of the first switch are respectively coupled to the data line and the other end of the first capacitor. The second and the third switch are coupled serially between the data line and a voltage source. One end of the second capacitor receives the common voltage, and the other end is coupled between the second and the third switch. The potential difference between the two ends of the first capacitor is different from that of the second capacitor.
