摘要: A method and an apparatus for evaluating ablation conditions easily and for ablating a target object accurately. The method includes irradiating a reference object with a laser beam under laser irradiation conditions determined to form a second curved surface shape on the reference object having a first curved surface shape approximate to a curved surface shape of the target object, measuring a third curved shape which has actually been formed by the laser irradiation, and determining a discrepancy between the second and the third curved surface shapes. Then, data about ablation or data for controlling a laser irradiation apparatus are corrected based on results of the determination.

摘要: A squib associated with a supplemental restraint system includes an igniting agent positioned above a first pin that is a connecting terminal providing a connection with a two-wire system bus wire, which is an external signal wire, and above a header that is provided with a second pin that is a connecting terminal. The squib also includes an IC substrate that controls communications and ignitions, and is positioned above the igniting agent, an ignition element between the igniting agent and the IC substrate, and joining portions provided in two locations bridging the igniting agent so as to connect the IC substrate with the first pin and the header. The IC substrate, the igniting agent, the pin, and the header are covered by a circular cylinder shaped cap whose top portion is closed off. Furthermore, these are formed integrally by being covered by a resin mold that is made to extend across the portions of the pins using a molding process. When the squib is operated it does not electrically affect the external signal wire.

摘要: Regarding a card storage cassette for use in a card recording apparatus in which a plurality of cards are stacked vertically with their face maintained substantially horizontal, the present invention provides in one embodiment a card recording apparatus and its card storage cassette in which cards can be replenished even when the undermost card is being ejected from the card storage cassette. While the card storage cassette 30 to be detachably mounted on the cassette mount platform formed on the right side plate of the outer chassis of the card recording apparatus is framed by joining a cassette body and a cassette cover, the cassette cover can be removed from the cassette body along a vertical guide member.

摘要: The present invention comprises the steps of one-dimensionally converting, into a vector, a dot distribution around an attentional pixel in a K.times.L coordinate (K and L=odd numbers, M=L or K.noteq.L) adjacent to the attentional pixel, specifically, in a 3.times.3 coordinate, 3.times.5 (5.times.3) coordinate or 3.times.7 (7.times.3) coordinate on the basis of rasterized data of the coordinate; and then smoothing the image or heightening an image density by correcting a location error of the attentional pixel on the basis of the vector information and the kind of attentional pixel (a dot or a blank). Thus, according to the present invention, the image patterns can be smoothed and the image resolution can be increased in a pseudo state with ease and high precision without complicating a circuit constitution by a simple judgement operation.

摘要: This seatbelt apparatus of a vehicle is provided with: a seatbelt; a belt reel on which the seatbelt is wound; a motor that drives a rotation of the belt reel; a controller that controls a driving amount of the motor; a winding position detection device that detects a winding position of the belt reel. The controller performs a first control mode in which a substantially constant electricity is supplied to the motor, and a second control mode in which the electricity supplied to the motor is controlled based on a predetermined rule; and sets an initial value for the second control mode based on changes in the winding position detected by the winding position detection device, while changing from the first control mode to the second control mode.
